Research On The Spiritual Needs Of The Elderly In The Nursing Institution For The Aged By Intervention Of Social Work

As China has entered an aging society,the spiritual needs of the elderly have increasingly become a social concern,and whether the spiritual needs of the elderly have been met is also one of the focus of attention.Currently the related issues of the old people’s spiritual life needs are more focused on the study from a macro perspective,and lack of judgment and satisfaction of personalized needs.The countermeasures and suggestions put forward are few in the aspects of targeted practice and method exploration.Compared with the rural elderly,urban elderly and other social elderly,the elderly which in nursing institution for the aged,the problem of lack of spiritual life are more prominent,and the psychological problem are more serious.Due to the impact of China’s current situation and development,previous studies on spiritual needs are more focused on the function of institutions.And the construction of old-age care institutions in China from the perspective of social work still at the early stage of development.In this study,on the basis of grasp the current situation of spiritual demand,which of the elderly in the nursing institution for the aged in Y city,the author serve “Qi Nian Shuo De Lao You Suo Le” project as the carrier,to meet the spiritual needs of the elderly in nursing institution for the aged in Y city,for the purpose to carry out social cases work,group social work and a series of professional services in Y city,to assist the elderly trust each other more,strengthen the emotional communication,if conditions permit,truly realize the effective construction of the support network,let the elderly more identity institutions,enhance the sense of belonging of the elderly to institutions,the old people’s spiritual needs to be effectively met,so as to improve their better life.In addition,to summary the results of the service,and think deeply of the service process of various conditions and problems,put forward suggestions for improvement.Through the development of the social work project,which disseminate the professional knowledge and ideas of social work.On the one hand,it could enrich the research on the spiritual needs of the elderly in social work,and actively promote the training and development of social work professionals,which is conducive to the localized development of social work for the elderly.On the other hand,it can provide reference for the government to inspect and evaluate the effectiveness of the program.Through this study,it is hoped that all social groups can deepen their understanding of institutional old-age care and pay attention to the daily life of institutional elderly,so as to provide more favorable conditions for speeding up the process of professionalization and professionalization of social work for the elderly.
