The Geography Curriculum Standard for Senior Secondary School(2017 Edition)has taken the view of human-land coordination,the synthetic thinking,regional cognition and the geographic practice capacity as the important contents of the geography subject.Teachers are required to innovate the teaching methods so that they can pay more attention to the development of students’ comprehensive quality.That is to say,the inquiry-based teaching pattern plays a vital role in enhancing students’ active learning ability,practical exploration ability as well as innovative ability.Based on this background,I realized that inquiry learning is very important to the cultivation of geographical practice.In order to accurately and objectively reflect the current cultivation of geographical practical ability of senior high school students,this study,combined with questionnaire survey and case analysis,investigated the actual situation of geographical practical activities in some schools and the existing understanding and methods in the cultivation of geographical practical ability,and found the problems and difficulties in the current cultivation process,And then through the design and implementation of teaching cases to find the feasibility of inquiry learning in the training of geographical practical ability,and then from the cases to conclude inquiry teaching methods and learning methods to guide the actual.This paper is mainly divided into four major parts and seven chapters,and the specific research contents are as follows:The first part is the theoretical basis,introducing the background,significance,purpose,ideas and innovation of the topic,and collecting the overall relevant research status and the core concepts and theories of this paper through a large number of documents.The second part uses the questionnaire survey method to make a specific understanding of the application of geographical "inquiry learning".Through sorting out and analyzing the questionnaire,it discusses the problems faced by teachers and students in the promotion of "inquiry learning" and the reasons,providing reference for training strategies.The third part of the case analysis,through the case teaching method,excavates the reasonable method and corresponding learning mode of "inquiry learning".The fourth part is a summary,which reviews the research process,finds out the research deficiencies,puts forward research prospects,and clarifies the research direction.This paper aims to explore how to apply "inquiry learning" to cultivate senior high school students’ geographical practice,so that the cultivation of senior high school students’ geographical practice has a new perspective.This is a collision between the concept of "inquiry learning" and subject teaching,and the sparks will surely merge into the momentum of national innovative education development.
