| As a basic discipline,mathematics is very extensive in the application of real life and the connection with other disciplines,ranging from celestial body movement to particle movement.When the epidemic is particularly serious in 2020,many doctors and academicians use mathematical models to study the change trend of viruses and carry out timely prevention and control.It can be said that human life and social development can not be separated from mathematics,so it can be seen that mathematical application ability is particularly important.Our education is moving towards quality education,which requires us to cultivate students’ comprehensive ability.Only when students learn to apply knowledge,can their comprehensive quality be improved,and can they expand and innovate on this basis.As mathematics educators,we must think about how to improve students’ ability to solve practical problems and make contributions to the country’s transfer of applied talents.In fact,the 2017 edition of the General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards has proposed that we should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ mathematical modeling literacy,which is the literacy of using mathematical language to express and solve application problems with mathematical methods.In the Evaluation System of China’s College Entrance Examination,the proposition of the college entrance examination is to reexamine the necessary knowledge,key abilities,discipline quality and core values,of which the key abilities mainly refer to the ability to apply knowledge to solve problems.In reality,many students often learn knowledge by rote,and their ability to solve practical problems is low.In order to meet the needs of the times for talent training,How to make the teaching of mathematical application problems achieve a better teaching effect and help students improve their ability to solve application problems has become a problem that many high school front-line teachers explore and think about.This paper first learned about the current research situation of cultivating students’ mathematical application ability at home and abroad by consulting a large number of documents,and based on Friedenthal’s "realistic mathematics" theory,Dewey’s "education is life" learning theory,Piaget’s constructivism theory and based on Ausubel’s theory of meaningful learning,this paper analyzes the status and development trend of applied problems in the college entrance examination in recent years.Through questionnaire survey and test paper survey of students,and interview survey of teachers,we can understand the actual situation of teaching and learning of applied problems in high school mathematics.Through the questionnaire survey and test paper survey of students,we can know how much high school students attach importance to mathematical application problems and how well they solve them;Through the interview and investigation of teachers,the purpose is to understand the teachers’ teaching attitude towards mathematical application problems and the difficulties they face in teaching.The survey results show that the link of teaching and learning is limited to exam oriented education.Teachers and students do not pay enough attention to the application of mathematics,and most of the attention is only superficial,or simply trapped in the strategy of question sea.Students will find it difficult to change an application scenario.The research found that the factors that affect the teaching effect of senior high school students’ mathematical application problems mainly include teachers,students and textbooks.In view of the problems existing in the above teaching,according to the main factors that affect the teaching effect of high school mathematical application problems,the author gives some strategies to improve the teaching effect of high school mathematical application problems:strengthen teachers’ mathematical modeling literacy;Encourage students to discover and ask questions;Give full play to the advantages of textbooks;Strengthening the connection between mathematics and life;Be good at using modern information technology.In the teaching process,the author took "Triangular Function Model: The Problem of Cargo Ship’s Port Entry and Exit Time" as an example to practice.After the practice,he reflected on it in time,and understood the weaknesses of students in solving application problems through their homework,so as to find the right remedy according to their actual situation in the later teaching.Through this research,we hope to help front-line teachers to provide some strategies to improve the teaching effect of high school mathematics application problems,and hope that the majority of mathematics educators can attach importance to the training of students’ mathematical application ability and make contributions to the training of applied talents for the country. |
