| High school Chinese curriculum standards(2017 version,2022 revised)pointed out that students should have the basic ability of daily oral communication,learn how to listen,express and communicate,and learn to use oral language to conduct interpersonal communication and social interaction in a civilized way.The importance of oral communication teaching is self-evident with the new curriculum reform coming into place.Excellent oral communication ability of students can not only improve the efficiency of the class,but also show their good images from the aspect of language,no matter it’s in a school classroom or in real life.However,under the background of the college entrance examination,front-line teachers have not fully sorted out the content of oral communication in the new textbooks and new curriculum standards.Oral communication teaching is in a dilemma of tradition and reality.Therefore,combining my own teaching environment and teaching experience,I have made a bold attempt in this field to study some new directions of teaching related to oral communication in high school language based on the New Curriculum Standard,hoping to provide some help and new perspectives to the majority of front-line teachers.This paper takes a high school in city A of Guizhou province as the research object.,content about “oral communication” in the new textbooks and new curriculum standards as research basis,is based on my teaching experience in recent years.It focuses on the topic of oral communication teaching strategy research in the context of the New Curriculum Standard,the following four areas are discussed。Part 1 The preamble describes the grounds for choosing this theme and makes clear the necessity and research approach of studying oral communication teaching.This section focuses on the formulation of the problem,its significance,and the status of the study.Through extensive collection and collation of documents and expansion of vision,from which the urgency of teaching oral communication strategies in high school was discovered,the research methodology for this dissertation was obtained,providing the cornerstone for the creation of this dissertation.Part 2 The questionnaire survey method was mainly used to investigate the current situation of oral communication teaching in a high school(the author’s school)in City A,Guizhou Province from the perspectives of teachers and students respectively.Through the integration and application of the data from the results of this survey,we finally analyzed several problems in the current oral communication teaching in high school language from the perspectives of teachers themselves,students’ motivation and teaching environment.Part 3 This part systematically sorts out the content of oral communication in the new curriculum standard and the new textbook including the relationship of oral communication with subject core literacy,curriculum goal and learning task group.In addition,the compilation characteristics of oral communication in the old textbook and the new one compiled by the department are sorted out and compared in the form of tables,so as to demonstrate the concept of "integrity and innovation" in high school oral communication teaching for the majority of teachers.Meanwhile,the deficiencies of the content setting of "oral communication" in the new textbook are objectively pointed out.Part 4 This part proposes the the strategy of optimizing oral communication teaching in high school and provides the specific demonstration of related teaching design.With regard to the above research problems,this part puts forward teaching strategies to optimize oral communication from the aspects of teaching materials,teaching methods and school management.Two types of courses,the oral communication activity course based on textbooks and the oral communication topic course based on theory,are brought up.Four practical instructional design demonstrations are given.The closing words This part summarizes the approach and research results of this paper and emphasizes once more the importance of high school oral communication class.It also points out that this paper is still not comprehensive enough and more researches need to be done.Hopefully,experts and front-line teachers would continue to research. |
