| Adolescence is an important stage of physical and mental development due to the drastic changes in physiology and psychology,which is characterized by emotional fluctuations and impulsive behavior.In recent years,self-injury and suicide among adolescents occur frequently,and the trend is younger.The causes behind adolescent self-injury and suicide are complex,but they also reflect the lack of sense of life meaning,lack of their own clear life goals and specific life experience,at the same time,under the huge challenges in school and life,they have lost the hope of life,do not cherish life enough,even ignore their own life.Thus,life health education is imminent.In positive psychology advocacy of life education,not only stay in youth suicide prevention and self-injury behavior,is more of a lead teenagers to focus on their own advantage,to inspire their own individual potential,shaping personality actively,so as to promote the sound and the development of the personality,the individual subjective well-being and sense of ’sense of life.Therefore,this study mainly discusses the relationship between junior high school students’ subjective well-being and sense of meaning in life,and the mediating effect of core self-evaluation on subjective well-being and sense of meaning in life,so as to implement the intervention research of group counseling.Research is divided into two parts,one is the one in changsha,a questionnaire survey was conducted among 1076 students of junior high school,junior middle school students to understand the subjective well-being of sense and meaning of life,the overall situation,and to explore whether the core self-evaluation in subjective well-being and life significance feeling plays an intermediary role,for subsequent group counseling intervention provide empirical;The second study recruited volunteers to participate in group counseling and randomly divided them into control group and experimental group.The experimental group received 8 weeks of group counseling based on core self-evaluation,while the control group did not do any treatment.Review of Research Findings:1.There are significant gender differences,grade differences and origin differences in the subjective well-being,core self-evaluation and sense of meaning in life of junior high school students.Specifically,the subjective well-being and core self-evaluation of boys are higher than those of girls.Students in urban areas had higher subjective well-being and core self-evaluation than students in urban-rural fringe and rural areas.The sense of meaning in life and core self-evaluation of the seventh grade students were higher than those of the eighth grade students;In addition,there were significant differences in whether or not they were class leaders,with students who were class leaders having higher sense of meaning in life and core self-evaluation than those who were not.2.There is a pairwise positive correlation between subjective well-being,core self-evaluation and sense of meaning in life of junior high school students.3.Core self-evaluation plays a partial mediating role in junior high school students’ subjective well-being and sense of meaning in life.4.Group counseling intervention with core self-evaluation effectively improves junior high school students’ sense of meaning in life. |
