With the development of computers and mobile Internet, our society has quietly entered the information age,and various smart devices and massive information data have made our life undergo earth-shaking changes. In order to enable young people to better integrate into this information-based society, the teaching of information technology subjects in high school must play an important role as a bridge and shoulder the mission of cultivating innovative talents for the country. In 2017,the national general high school information technology curriculum standard was officially promulgated, which optimized the curriculum structure, condensed the core literacy, and updated the teaching content, which put forward higher requirements for the development of the high school information technology curriculum. The current information technology courses have the problems of outdated teaching, rigid teaching methods and poor students’ autonomy, which can no longer meet the training of computational thinking mentioned in the core literacy. In order to solve this situation, this research is devoted to constructing a high school information technology teaching mode based on the cultivation of computational thinking, and carrying out curriculum design and teaching practice with this teaching mode. The author conducts practical research by means of literature research method, educational experiment method, questionnaire survey method and interview method. The whole research process is divided into six stages, namely research preparation, theoretical research, teaching mode design, course content design, teachin g practice, teaching effect analysis and reflection. The specific research contents are as follows:1.Sort out relevant literatures on computational thinking and project learning, investigate the current situation of computational thinking training in high school, analyze information technology curriculum standards and teaching materials, and build a project-based teaching model based on computational thinking training.2.Taking "Data and Computation" as the teaching content,a compulsory course in the textbook,to design the curriculum,to construct a set of project-based high school information technology courses based on the cultivation of computational thinking, and to carry out teaching experiments.3.Develop computational thinking evaluation tools, test students before and after teaching experiments, and test the effect of the new teaching mode on cultivating students’ computational thinking by analyzing experimental data. This study selects two classes with similar knowledge and ability levels in th e first grade of Handan No.1 Middle School as the research objects.Class A1 is the experimental class using the project-based teaching mode based on computational thinking training, and class A2 is the control class using the traditional teaching mode..Using the Computational Thinking Assessment Scale(CTS)before and after teaching to evaluate students in two classes from the five dimensions of creativity, computational thinking, problem solving, critical thinking and cooperation, and using Bebras International Computational Thinking Challenge test questions conduct a final mock exam. Then,in SPSS 17.0,the experimental test data were analyzed by statistical comparison, independent sample T test, etc.,and finally the experimental conclusion was drawn.Research shows that the project-based teaching mode based on the cultivation of computational thinking has a significant effect on the cultivation of students’ computational thinking in teaching practice. It can significantly improve students’ computational thinking ability in five dimensions, namely creativity, computational thinking, problem solving ability and cooperation ability. It can also effectively cultivate students’ ability to decompose, abstract, summarize, algorithm and evaluate when facing project problems.Based on the direction of the new curriculum standard and the content requirements of the new textbooks, this study hopes to provide some reference for information technology teaching in senior high school.
