The National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Program(2010-2020)proposed for the first time that regular high schools should increase the teaching content of vocational education.The Chemistry Curriculum Standards for Regular High Schools(2017 Edition 2020 Revision)(referred to as the New Curriculum Standards)also put forward clear requirements for vocational education.The column "Chemistry and Career" in the new textbook(2019 Edition of Human Education Edition)put career education in the dominant position of chemistry education.Therefore,the importance of vocational education in middle school chemistry teaching was clarified clearly.The infiltration of career education in high school chemistry teaching conforms to the basic requirements of the new curriculum standard,which can not only stimulate the interest in learning and improve the core quality of the subject,but also help students to establish a good life ideal and correct career concept.The purpose of this study is to dig deeper into the career education value of the new textbook of high school chemistry,explore the suggestions and strategies for the infiltration of career education in high school chemistry teaching,enhance students’ understanding of chemistry careers,lay a solid foundation for students’ further education and career choices,help them grow and become successful,and then better implement the fundamental task of education of "cultivating morality and cultivating people".Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform,research on career education in China has blossomed,and career education in chemical discipline has also become a research hotspot.But at present,there are few reports on the in-depth exploration of the explicit and implicit materials of career education in the new textbook of high school chemistry,and there are also few systematic and comprehensive research reports that make full use of the value of career education in the new textbooks of high school chemistry human education edition to put forward the implementation strategy of career education,design the teaching cases of career education and carry out the teaching practice of career education.Therefore,this paper dissertation took "research on the implementation strategy of career education based on the new high school chemistry textbook(2019 edition)" as the research theme.Firstly,the theories related to career education at home and abroad were extensively reviewed to understand the connotation of the subject penetration of career education and the current situation of domestic and international research.Secondly,we analyzed the requirements of career education in the new curriculum of high school chemistry,and deeply explored the explicit and implicit teaching resources of career education in the new textbook.Based on the occupational classification in the 2015 edition of the Occupational Dictionary of the People’s Republic of China,the chemistry occupations involved in the teaching of chemistry subjects in high school were systematically sorted out.Student questionnaires were used to collect students’ views on career education in chemistry,and teacher interviews were used to understand the current situation of teachers’ penetration of career education in chemistry teaching.The results of the survey and interviews showed that although the material of career education in the book was very rich,the situation of penetrating career education infiltration career education was not ideal.Thus it was necessary to raise teachers’ awareness of the importance of penetrating career education in chemistry teaching,and it was also necessary to effectively penetrate career education in chemistry teaching to improve students’ self-cognitive ability,career cognitive ability and career planning ability.Then,based on the analysis of the requirements of career education in the new curriculum of high school chemistry and the in-depth exploration of the explicit and implicit materials of career education in the new textbooks,the implementation suggestions and implementation strategies for the penetration of career education in high school chemistry subject teaching were proposed.Implementation suggestions: basic representativeness,diversified comprehensiveness and stage adaptability.Implementation strategies: carrying out the classroom teaching based on the history of chemistry to stimulate career interest;creating teaching scenarios of chemists to awaken career awareness;carrying out "role-playing" experimental courses to enhance career literacy;applying STSE to career education to heighten career awareness.Finally,four sections of teaching content including "Sulfur and its compounds","Movement of chemical equilibrium"," Examination of Fe2+ and Fe3+",and "Common alloys and their applications" were selected to design the teaching cases of career education.Taking the students of Grade one in A high school of Chongqing as the research object,a one-month study on chemistry teaching practice of penetrating career education was carried out.The practice results showed that chemistry teaching with career education can promote students’ attention and understanding of the chemistry profession,develop students’ career planning ability,and give full play to the educational value of chemistry.Meanwhile,it could stimulate students’ interest in learning,attract students to choose chemistry,and consolidate the status of chemistry subject.In conclusion,based on the in-depth excavation of the value of career education in the new textbook,this study puts forward the implementation suggestions and strategies of penetrating career education in high school chemistry teaching,and designs teaching cases and practices according to specific teaching contents.The research results can provide reference for senior high school chemistry career education,which have certain theoretical value and practical significance.
