In recent years,accidental casualties of left-behind children due to factors such as drowning,natural disasters,and traffic accidents have emerged in an endless stream,which has seriously threatened their healthy growth and aroused social concern.The safety of left-behind children is not only related to the healthy growth of left-behind children,but also to the stability and long-term development of society.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out safety education around the needs of left-behind children.Left-behind children in this study refer to minors between the ages of 7 and 14 who have both or one of their parents migrated to work for more than half a year and left behind in their place of residence.Taking Zefu Community,a relocated community in Fugong County,Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province as an example,this paper investigates the safety problems and needs of left-behind children in Zefu Community by three methods: interview,observation and literature research,found that the team members have safety problems in natural disasters,drowning,traffic safety,home safety,physical health safety and sexual assault,and analyzed the reasons for their safety problems from five aspects: individual,family,school,government and society.The author took the left-behind children in Zefu community as the service object,with the main goal of increasing the safety knowledge and skills of left-behind children and improving safety awareness,based on social learning theory and social gender theory,designed and carried out 9 group activities.It comprehensively uses video observation,scenario simulation,group games and other methods to improve the fun of the group,attract team members to insist on participating in the activity,and conduct process evaluation and result evaluation.Through the evaluation,the author found that the left-behind children’s safety knowledge level and skills in Zefu community have been improved,and their safety awareness has also been enhanced.The results of group activities show that: first,the intervention of group work has a significant effect on strengthening the safety education of left-behind children in relocated communities,enhancing the safety knowledge and skills of left-behind children,and improving the safety awareness of left-behind children;second,safety education It should be carried out from an early age,and the safety education group activities should be carried out from the primary school stage;thirdly,the left-behind children of the Lisu ethnic group in the relocated communities in the frontier are very special,and social work should pay attention to the use of work skills,and carry out practical work according to the actual situation of the left-behind children..At the end of the study,the author analyzes the deficiencies in the intervention process from the perspective of social workers themselves and service activities,and proposes solutions for relocation from the perspective of social work and the perspectives of various subjects including family,school,community,government,and society.Safety issues for left-behind children in the community and suggestions for strengthening safety education. |
