College students,as the backbone of the construction of a socialist modern power,are also the key driving force for the future construction and development of the country.Their future and development,as well as their physical health,have also attracted widespread attention.Through the investigation on the current situation of exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem of college students in Yunnan Province,the basic characteristics of exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem of college students are understood,and the relationship between exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem is explored.This study used a variety of methods such as literature review,mathematical statistics,psychological testing,and questionnaire survey.Using the Exercise Motivation Scale,Exercise Behavior Scale,and Physical Self Esteem Scale as measurement tools,500 undergraduate students were randomly selected from some universities in Yunnan Province as survey samples for comprehensive analysis and research,and spss 23.0 software was used to assist the research,Through research and analysis,the following research conclusions are finally drawn:1.From the overall situation of college students,college students’ exercise motivation is at a medium to high level,their exercise behavior is at a medium to high level,and their physical self-esteem is at a medium level.2.On the whole,there are significant differences in exercise behavior and physical self-esteem between different genders,specifically: boys>girls;On the whole,there are significant differences in exercise motivation among different ethnic groups,which are shown as follows: Han ethnic group>ethnic minorities;In terms of different majors,there are significant differences in exercise motivation as a whole,specifically as follows: sports>literature and history>art>science and engineering.There are significant differences in exercise behavior and physical self-esteem as a whole,which are shown as follows: sports>science and engineering>literature and history>art;In different grades,there are significant differences in exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem as a whole.The specific performance is: senior>freshman>junior>sophomore;On the whole,there are significant differences in exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem in different exercise frequencies,which are as follows: more than 3 times> 2-3 times > 1 time;On the whole,there are significant differences in exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem in different exercise time.The specific performance is: more than 90 minutes>60-90 minutes>less than 60 minutes.3.In the correlation analysis of exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem,it is concluded that exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem are all positively correlated.Except for individual dimensions,such as internal motivation and physical self-worth,identity regulation and physical self-worth,external regulation and habitual behavior,there is no correlation between other scales and their dimensions.Therefore,it is believed that there is a statistically positive correlation between exercise behavior,exercise motivation and physical self-esteem.4.In the regression analysis of exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem,it is concluded that exercise motivation can significantly and positively affect exercise behavior,and exercise motivation also significantly and positively affects physical self-esteem.The study concluded that exercise motivation and physical self-esteem can positively affect exercise behavior together.Through relevant research results,we can also see that exercise motivation has a direct and important impact on physical self-esteem.At the same time,according to exercise behavior,we can also have a direct understanding of a person’s physical self-esteem,which has great reference significance and value.5.In the analysis of the intermediary effect between exercise motivation,exercise behavior and physical self-esteem,it is concluded that physical self-esteem has a significant impact on exercise behavior,and physical self-esteem has a significant impact on exercise motivation.Exercise motivation can not only predict exercise behavior directly,but also predict exercise behavior through the mediation of physical self-esteem.Therefore,physical self-esteem plays a part of intermediary role in exercise motivation and exercise behavior,and the intermediary effect accounts for15.893%.
