| In the past ten years,great achievements have been made in China’s secondary vocational education.However,there is still a gap with the national’s development goals.We still have a long way to go to meet the people’s demand of the vocational education.Teachers are the foundation of teaching and the source of education.Professional quality of teachers affects the development of secondary vocational education.Accounting major of secondary vocational school is critical to cultivate intermediate and junior accountant,which is influenced by the professional quality of accounting teachers.The article mainly adopts the literature analysis,questionnaire survey,statistical analysis and Interview method to explore the professional quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational school from the perspective of students’ needs,and to investigate and analyze its current situation.And then,it analyzes the main influencing factors of professional quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational school.Finally,based on the previous analysis of the influencing factors,combined with the theory of teachers’ professional development,Philosophy of practical Education and Maslow’s hierarchy of needs,put forward the countermeasures to improve the professional quality of accounting teachers.The study found that the professional quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational school should include the following four aspects.1.Solid foundation of professional knowledge and Mastering specialized practical skills,and combine accounting theoretical knowledge with accounting practical ability.2.Ability to relate education to the accounting profession.3.understanding students,and take care of the students practically.4.Adopting multi-teaching methods.Overall,the students of accounting major in secondary vocational school are relatively satisfied with the professional quality of accounting teachers.But,through surveys and interviews,statistics and analysis of data,we find some problems with the current accounting teachers’ professional quality,their professionalism needs to be improved.It found the main factors affecting the professional quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational schools are as follows: teachers’ pre-service education,on-the-job training,enterprise practice,self-development awareness,professional happiness and so on.On the basis of the analysis of the key influencing factors,this paper puts forward many measures to improve the professional quality of accounting teachers in secondary vocational schools,as follows.Firstly,improving the training system of pre-service vocational education teachers.Secondly,improving the pertinence and effectiveness of on-the-job training,to ensure that in-service training closely to the needs of vocational accounting teachers.Thirdly,accelerating the interaction between vocational accounting teachers and accounting industry by the mode of “going out,bringing in and raising it up”.Fourthly,establishing developing evaluation system for teachers to promote the initiative development.Finally,raising the social status of secondary vocational education teachers.Improving the external environment and their own internal drive to promote the professional quality of vocational accounting teachers. |
