With the rapid development of economy, more and more professional talents aredemanded. It is very important to find the countermeasures to improve the quality ofthe professional degree’s development. Aim to analyze the problems of the quality ofprofessional degree education and to give the countermeasures in China, this paperuses the methods of questionnaire and interview to make the empirical research on thequality of four representative professional degrees of Liaoning province, and to findsolutions to these problems. This paper is divided into five parts, as follows:The first party is the introduction. Introduce the aim of the research, the purposeof the research, the contents of the research, the method of the research and the ideasof the research.The second part is an overview of relevant theories of the quality of professionaldegree education. This part mainly defined the core concept of this study, including:the quality of professional degree education, the standards of professional degreequality. Secondly, the scope of this study is limited, the connotation and extension ofthis study is cleared. Finally, the quality standards of professional degree are founded.The third part is the investigation and analysis on the present situation of thequality of professional degree of Liaoning Province. In this part, from the five aspectsof training objectives, thesis, teachers, training mode, quality assurance system, wedesigned questionnaire and made an empirical study. Secondly, it analyses the statusquo of the quality of professional degree’s education in Liaoning province. Based onthe empirical investigation on quality of four professional degree education ofLiaoning Province, we seek problems, and analyze the problems from the five aspectsof training target, thesis, teachers, training mode, and quality guarantee system.The fourth part is the international experience research of the quality of foreignprofessional degree. In this part, make the studies from the angle of the professionaldegree’s quality improvement strategy of the US, the UK and France in order tosummarize the quality strategy of professional degree.The fifth part is the countermeasures to improve the quality of professionaldegree in China. In this part, detailed introduced the process of development ofprofessional degree education in our country, and how to put forward the countermeasures from the five dimensions of training target, thesis, teachers, trainingmode and quality assurance system. The specific measures are: in the aspect oftraining objective: accurate the positioning of training objectives, improve theposition of professional degree; in the aspect of the thesis:“double teacher” systemand improving the paper quality; on the aspect of teacher’s team, improve theteachers’ practical ability; on the aspect of training modes: diversified trainingpatterns; in the security system: school self-control, social supervision andgovernment macro-control.
