Research On Optimizing The Diversion Mechanism Of Engineering Academic Through-type Doctoral Education

In September 2020,the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council and the Ministry of Education issued the "Several Opinions on Further Strictly Regulating the Quality Management of Degrees and Postgraduate Education",requesting training units to improve and implement the postgraduate diversion and exit mechanism,and divert and exit graduate students who are not suitable for continuing to study for a degree.The through-type doctoral education triage mechanism can make up for the limitations of the through-type training model,such as a long training period and fewer exports.At the same time,the through-type doctoral education triage mechanism is of great significance for improving the quality of through-type doctoral education in my country.According to the research objects and research questions,this research clarifies the concept of “diversion” and adopts research methods such as literature research method,interview method,and case analysis method.First,it explains the macro-level coherent doctoral education diversion policy,and secondly,it is based on the policy.The framework explores the diversion practice of pilot universities,and then selects T University as a case for in-depth analysis.This study explores the status quo of T University’s engineering through-type doctoral education diversion mechanism from the whole process of the selection of students,the training process,and the quality control of the dissertation.Based on the analysis of the status quo,analyze the problems in the diversion mechanism of university engineering through doctoral education from the four dimensions of diversion concept,diversion evaluation system,diversion channel,and diversion supporting system,and analyze T from the national level,the university level,and the individual doctoral level.The reasons for the problems in the flow-through mechanism of doctoral education in university engineering.Finally,based on the macro-examination of the through-type doctoral education diversion policy and the in-depth analysis of the diversion practice of T University,optimization suggestions are proposed from the three dimensions of the country’s top-level design,the diversion management of universities,and the rational choice of individual doctoral students: To guide the diversion function positioning,improve the diversion policy system,and improve the top-level design of the diversion supporting system,we will systematically integrate diversion elements,establish a benefit coordination mechanism,and improve the diversion supervision mechanism to promote diversion management as a whole,and strengthen diversion publicity and education,provide career planning guidance,Optimize the academic early warning mechanism to guide the doctor’s physiological selection.
