Project-based learning is a learning mode in which students conduct in-depth and continuous exploration on relevant cross disciplinary driving problems in real situations,mobilize all knowledge and skills to creatively solve problems,deeply understand core knowledge in the process of completing activity achievements,and can be transferred and applied to new situations.However,due to the lack of clear design path guidance and implementation of teaching experience,the design and implementation of mathematics project-based learning still have great challenges for most of the front-line teachers in China.Based on this,the research focuses on how to effectively design and implement junior high school mathematics project-based learning,and build the design and implementation path of junior high school mathematics project-based learning.According to the design and implementation path of mathematics project-based learning,the project-based learning case of "function in life" and "sharing the Hangzhou Asian Games" is designed.The case is implemented in the eighth grade of a middle school in Hangzhou,and the implementation process and results are analyzed.The research draws the following conclusions and enlightenment: the design and implementation path of mathematics project-based learning is feasible;It is helpful to improve students’ problem-solving ability and learning interest,but lacks the spirit of continuous inquiry;Cultivated students’ core quality,but students’ innovative consciousness is still weak;In the process of project activities,teachers play a leading role and students are the main body,but the relationship between teachers and students is not close enough.Therefore,it is suggested that teachers should select appropriate project themes and create good project activities;Timely provide learning support to promote students’ continuous exploration;Promote interdisciplinary integration and cultivate students’ core quality;Improve teachers’ professional quality and ensure high-quality project completion.
