In order to realize the goal of the new curriculum reform,it is necessary to introduce the new teaching mode and educational concept into the teaching of junior middle school mathematics.Project learning is a teaching mode combining knowledge and practice,which links learning with real life and proposes complex and challenging tasks.Students conduct independent exploration and active learning in the form of group cooperation,and finally form project works to achieve teaching objectives.This is consistent with the independent,cooperative and exploratory learning methods advocated in the curriculum standards of compulsory education.Therefore,it is of certain research value to combine project learning with mathematics teaching in junior middle school.On the basis of previous studies,using the literature research to the project learning of defining the relevant concepts,summarizes the elements of project learning and value,and then on the basis of the theory of project learning as the basis,follow the principle of the design of the project learning,and based on the investigation of Xinxiang junior high school students mathematics study present situation,the project learning in Xinxiang junior middle school mathematics teaching practice research,through questionnaire survey and interview analysis the effect of the implementation of case analysis and evaluation.Through the research,the research conclusions are as follows :(1)project learning can mobilize students' initiative in learning mathematics and improve their interest in learning mathematics.The project activities enhance students' participation in the process of acquiring knowledge,thus arousing their enthusiasm for learning mathematics.Students carry out the process of acquiring knowledge with passion and challenge.(2)project learning is an exploratory teaching mode with strong operability and remarkable teaching effect.In the project learning,students learn to choose,analyze,process and apply information,and learn how to learn in the activities,which is an effective exploratory learning model.(3)the implementation of project learning in junior middle school mathematics teaching is conducive to the improvement of cooperation awareness,problem solving ability,and the acquisition of knowledge and skills.(4)the implementation of project learning can be adjusted according to the length of the content,which improves the efficiency of students' knowledge acquisition.(5)in the middle school mathematics teaching,the implementation of project learning,its diversified evaluation methods,can be fair and objective more scientific evaluation of students' comprehensive quality,but also changes the current mathematics teaching in the single evaluation system.Based on the study of the teaching practice of junior middle school mathematics,this paper provides two mathematics project activities for junior middle school students to learn,and demonstrates the effectiveness of project learning and the possibility of cultivating students' abilities in all aspects.Although the work done in this paper is just a preliminary study of project learning,it is believed that with the continuous in-depth study of project learning,it will become a hot spot in the research of mathematics education reform.
