In the course of our history,moral education has been a major issue concerning the rise and fall of the nation.Among them,the focus on school morality in the secondary school history classroom has become a core issue,and has received even more widespread attention.Focusing on ideological and moral values is both a need of the times and a reflection of social progress,and a need for the comprehensive development of young people themselves.Taking Erenhot Mongolian Middle School as a base of practice,the author discusses how to infuse moral awareness in history teaching by combining it with the characteristics of the history curriculum and teaching practice in Erenhot Mongolian Middle School.This paper is divided into the following five sections.Firstly,the introductory section focuses on the research background,research review and research methods to discuss the research value of this topic and the problems that need to be solved.This is followed by a definition of concepts and theoretical foundations.In this section,a large amount of literature read is analysed using the documentary analysis method,from which the concept of moral education is extracted and the theoretical basis of moral education is discussed.Again,an account is given of the teaching resources available in junior history textbooks on moral awareness.The resources available on moral awareness are further explored by analysing the moral education resources of characters and the moral education resources of pictures in the junior high school history textbooks(Year 7-9 textbooks)in accordance with the 2022 edition of the Compulsory Education Junior High School History Curriculum Standards.From the first few sections,we explore effective ways to infuse moral awareness in history teaching.Through the use of history moral awareness resources in the classroom and visits to museums,monuments and other historical resources in the classroom,effective ways of infusing moral awareness in the history classroom and outside the history classroom are sorted out.Finally,through the use of case studies,the first lesson of the Opium War in the first book of history in the eighth grade of junior middle school is used as a case study,and the actual teaching and reflections on it later lead to a relative teaching strategy for infiltrating moral awareness.
