| Research Background:With the continuous development of economic and social life,female college students have mental health problems due to the pressure of learning environment,emotional environment,social interaction,and future development.The rate of depression and sleep disorder of female college students is increasing year by year,which seriously affects the physical and mental health development of female college students.Therefore,finding effective ways for women to improve depression and sleep quality remains a subject of research.Objective:My purpose in this article is to investigate the depression rate and sleep disorder rate of female college students through large sample scale screening,to clarify the correlation between sleep quality score and depression score,and to confirm whether yoga exercise intervention can reduce depression and sleep quality score of female college students.Research methods:The study of the Chinese and English journal literature on yoga’s intervention in depression and sleep quality obtained theoretical support.The questionnaire survey method was used to issue questionnaires to 562 ordinary female college students,and the questionnaire recovery rate was 90.74%.48 female college students meeting the experimental requirements were selected from 510 female college students.They were randomly divided into the yoga experimental group and the blank control group,and underwent yoga exercise intervention for 80 minutes each time,twice a week for a total of 10 weeks.The statistical scores in the experiment were the mean±standard deviation,the correlation between sleep and depression was analyzed by Pearson correlation coefficient,and the independent sample T test was used between the groups before and after yoga exercise intervention.Paired sample T test was applied in the group after yoga exercise intervention,and sp SS20.0 software was used for statistical analysis of all analyses.research results:(1)The study found that the current depression rate of female college students was 30.20%,and there were differences among different grades.The depression rate of female college students was 18.18%in freshmen,37.79%in sophomore,and32.30%in junior.The depression rate of senior students was higher than that of junior students.According to different demographic characteristics,female college students with urban hukou were more prone to depression than those with rural hukou(P<0.05),and there was no statistical significance in depression rate among female college students with different majors and only child(P>0.05).(2)The study found that the current rate of sleep disorders in female college students is 21.76%,and there are differences in the rate of sleep disorders in different grades,among which the rate of sleep disorders in freshmen is 15.38%,the rate of sleep disorders in sophomore is 20.34%,and the rate of sleep disorders in junior is27.69%.The higher the grade,the higher the rate of sleep disorders is.According to different demographic characteristics,whether the only child,household registration type and major had no significant difference in the rate of sleep disorders among female college students(P>0.05).(3)Through the correlation analysis of the total scores of sleep quality and depression of female college students,the results showed that the total scores of sleep quality and depression of female college students were positively correlated(R=.515**,P<0.01).(4)After 10 weeks of yoga exercise intervention,the SDS depression score of the experimental group decreased from 60.52±4.08 before the experiment to 44.63±4.78after the experiment,and the difference was significant compared with the control group(P<0.01).The study proved that 10 weeks of yoga exercise intervention had the effect of reducing depression score.(5)After ten weeks of yoga exercise intervention,the total score of sleep quality in the experimental group decreased from 8.71±1.04 before the experiment to6.08±2.04 after the experiment,and the total score of sleep quality was significantly improved compared with the control group(P<0.01).After yoga experiment,the most obvious improvement factors were sleep time and sleep time(P<0.01),followed by daytime dysfunction(P<0.05).Yoga exercise intervention for 10 weeks had the effect of reducing sleep quality score.Research conclusions:the current rate of female college students’depression and sleep disturbance rate generally higher,the situation is not optimistic,different demographic characteristics of female college students’depression and sleep disturbance rate have differences,female college students sleep quality worse may be more likely to be depressed,yoga exercise intervention can effectively improve the depression and sleep quality level of the female college students. |
