Junior high school students are still young,and their physical and mental development is not yet fully matured.Most parents and teachers usually impose strict control on them.However,because junior high school students independent consciousness is in a period of rapid development,it is easy to produce learning burnout.This is characterized by inefficiency and poor learning effect by strict or controlling education methods,so they cannot devote themselves to their studies.Based on the perspection of positive psychology,the independent support education style has a potential positive impact on the cultivation of students’ learning initiative and the development of personality.In order to further reveal the internal influence mechanism of self-supporting education style on junior high school students’ academic engagement,based on selfsystem processing theory and self-determination theory,this study looks at the relationship between teachers self-support,self-efficacy,learning motivation and learning engagement,and proposes a causal relationship model with chain mediation.In this study,"learning atmosphere questionnaire," "middle school students’ learning engagement questionnaire" "self-efficacy scale" and "learning motivation scale" were used to conduct a questionnaire survey on 335 students in a junior middle school in Shanxi Province.A total of 335 questionnaires were collected,of which 304 were valid.SPSS25.0was used to analyze the data.Finally,the following results were obtained :(1)Teachers’ sense of self-support,self-efficacy,learning motivation and learning engagement in the household registration,showed significant differences in grade and score ranking;(2)There is a significant positive correlation between teachers’ perceived autonomy support,self-efficacy,learning motivation and learning engagement;(3)Teachers’ perceived autonomy support significantly positively predicts learning engagement.Self-efficacy and learning motivation play a mediating role between the two;(4)Self-efficacy and learning motivation have a chain mediating effect between teachers’ perceived autonomy support and learning engagement.Based on the above research results,this study gives some corresponding reference opinions from the two levels of school and family education: Teachers adopt the style of independent support education and schools construct independent campus culture;Parents create a supportive family atmosphere.
