Integrated Social Work Intervention Study On The Improvement Of Urban Elderly Disabled Families’ Resilience

In recent years,the state has made great efforts to develop the cause of the disabled,and social security and services for the disabled have been deeply studied,while the family of the disabled has received little attention.Urban elderly disabled families as an important part of the disability protection cause,in accordance with the actual plight of urban elderly disabled families,the introduction of the concept of family resilience,improve the ability and level of families to recover from the plight.Due to the complexity of urban communities,the lack of interaction between community residents makes it difficult for communities to provide a supportive environment for family recovery.Lack of stable connections within the family,lack of faith and communication at the family level;At the same time,individual factors of disability affect the resilience level of the whole family.The lack of external support from the community affects the internal stability of the family,which in turn further affects the level of individual recovery.The problems of the elderly and disabled are both stratified and interrelated,requiring the intervention of integrated social work to provide help.This study integrated approach to social work intervention urban elderly family resilience to ascend,for the disabled by family resilience system analysis,the introduction of multi-level intervention methods,from three aspects: communities,groups and individuals to intervene,the flexibility to urban elderly people with disabilities through technical combination family resilience of different levels and different aspects of ascension.Taking H community in Xiamen city as an example,literature method,questionnaire survey and field interview were used to collect information and understand the basic situation of the families served.Based on the key factors of family resilience,this paper analyzes the problems and causes of family resilience of elderly disabled people in H community.In the mode of integrated social work,practical work is carried out at macro,medium and micro levels.At the macro level,community charity sales and family outings will be carried out on the basis of community work to build stable community interpersonal connections and improve the level of community support.In the middle level,group work is the main body.Through flower arrangement and manual group activities,an environment for communication is created for family members,which improves family members’ mutual assistance and cooperation ability,enhances intimacy,and weakens the risk factors of family resilience.At the micro level,casework services are supplemented.According to the different needs of service families,supplementary case work and consulting case work methods are used to help solve the specific problems of service families and reduce the risk factors of their family resilience.At the end of this study,we reflect on the current integrated social work methods and practices involved in the improvement of family resilience.The integrated social work model is still in the preliminary stage of exploration,lacking relevant practical experience,and the influencing factors of family resilience are more than the three key factors mentioned in this paper.It is hoped that this study will contribute to the development of the disabled by intervening in the family resilience of the elderly in urban areas.
