At present,with the successive development of the Olympic Games and the Winter Olympics,the sports atmosphere is very strong,and many athletes appear in the public view.At the same time,more and more minority events are gradually known.This work "A Saber Knight" focuses on Ma Yingjia,an athlete of the fencing national team.By using the narrative method of combining historical data with interviews and shooting,and taking Ma Yingjia’s career as the timeline,it starts a multiangle narrative,and tells how to embark on the road of professional athletes under coach Huang Jianrong’s training mode,as well as the ups and downs behind this process,so as to reflect Ma Yingjia’s character characteristics of tenacity,courage,optimism and confidence.As a feature film of sports characters,this work aims to popularize science and guide the audience,convey positive life values to the public,improve the attention of fencing,a minority sport,and convey social positive energy.As a feature film for sports figures,this work aims to popularize science and guide the audience,convey positive life values to the public,and thus raise the attention of fencing,a niche sport,and deliver positive energy to the society.For young fencers,it plays a reference and incentive role to a certain extent.For the general public,it plays the role of popular science fencing.In addition,let the public appreciate the charm of fencing is also one of the main purposes of this work.The graduation design report will be divided into three parts.The first part is the research on the development status of sports feature films.Through reading literature and watching video works,make work creation plans.The second part is to carry out practice on the basis of theory,and present the works through early creation,middle shooting and later editing.The third part is the summary and reflection of the whole creation process of the work to make up for the shortcomings.
