Technical And Tactical Analysis Of Chinese Women Wheelchair Epee Team In 2020 Tokyo Paralympic Games

In contemporary competitive sports,the Paralympic Games is an important event.Wheelchair fencing has been a key gold-winning event in the previous Paralympic Games.Among previous Paralympic Games,the female epee athletes have won the Paralympic gold medals many times.At the Tokyo Paralympic Games,the Chinese wheelchair epee women’s team also lived up to expectations and won the gold medal.Objective:This paper applies the technical and tactical analysis to the women’s wheelchair epee team competition of the 2020 Paralympic Games in Tokyo,selects and watches the competition video,counts their respective techniques and tactics in the group,semi-final and final competitions,and discusses and compares them,this paper analyzes the characteristics of the technical and tactical changes of Chinese women epee team in different rounds in the Tokyo Paralympic Games,especially in the semi-finals and finals when dealing with strong opponents.Research methods:By means of documentary materials,video observation,expert interviews and mathematical statistics,this paper makes a statistical analysis and comparison of the techniques and tactics of Chinese wheelchair fencing women’s epee teams in the group stage,semifinals and finals,then to analyze the characteristics of the technical and tactical changes of Chinese women’s epee team competition in different rounds of the Tokyo Paralympic Games against different opponents.Research conclusions:(1)From a technical point of view,the Chinese wheelchair fencing women’s epee team competition is dominated by offensive techniques,supplemented by defensive techniques,and guaranteed by counter-attack techniques in every round.In the offensive techniques,the transfer attack is the main method;in the defensive techniques,the fourth defense is the main method;in the counterattack techniques,the transfer counterattack is the main method.When fighting against strong opponents,the Chinese team players have weak defensive technique,and they quickly adjusted their techniques in the finals to reduce the use of defensive techniques.(2)From the tactical aspect,in the Chinese wheelchair fencing women’s epee team competition,A-level players mainly use offensive tactics,while B-level players mainly use defensive,counter-attack and mutual attack tactics.Both A and B players are good at using rules-based tactics.Similarly,when fighting against strong opponents,Chinese players are better at using rules-based tactics.(3)From the point of view of scoring parts,the probability of scoring and the success rate are proportional to the area of the part.The head is the part where the Chinese team players get the least points and the torso is the area that is both the easiest to score and the easiest to lose.In different rounds,the scoring area is mainly the torso,but the success rate of the hands and arms has been increasing.Proposals:(1)In terms of techniques,the Chinese team should focus on practicing defensive techniques in future training to improve the success rate,especially the second defense and sixth defense.Only when the offensive and defensive strengths are equal can they ensure that they are undefeated in the confrontation.At the same time,the Chinese team will increase the proportion of counterattacks in the future and reduce the pressure on defense.(2)In terms of tactics,B-level players should strengthen their defensive awareness.When competing with A-level players,they should not easily adopt offensive tactics.In addition,strengthening the athletes’ ability to adjust their mentality and ability to resist pressure in future training is the basis for winning the competition.(3)In terms of scoring parts,the Chinese team must cultivate a sense of protection,always pay attention to the opponent’s intentions,and protect the torso parts that are easy to lose points is the key to winning the game.
