Nowadays,college students’ physical quality is not satisfactory,and it is difficult to improve their physical condition obviously.The college stage is the key period for the healthy development of students’ body and mind.At the same time,cultivating and bringing up a large number of high-quality talents with both morality,intelligence,physique,beauty and labor is also a long-term plan for the development of the country and the nation.However,for college students,physical education class is far from meeting the demand.Extracurricular sports,as an important supplement to physical education class,plays a vital role in improving their physical quality.Therefore,find out the obstacles that hinder college students’ participation in extracurricular sports.In this paper,from the perspective of social ecology,the obstacles of extracurricular sports participation of college students in Harbin are taken as the research object,and 10 colleges and universities in Harbin are selected.By using the methods of literature,questionnaire and mathematical statistics,the obstacles of extracurricular sports participation of college students in Harbin are deeply studied,in order to provide theoretical reference for deeply understanding the obstacles of extracurricular sports participation of college students in Harbin,promoting students’ extracurricular sports participation and strengthening their physique.The main conclusions are as follows:1.Most college students in Harbin show the phenomenon that their actions lag behind their thoughts in extracurricular sports participation,among which the amount of exercise of boys is significantly higher than that of girls;The choice of extracurricular sports and physical exercise forms is relatively simple,and its motivation is mainly to strengthen physical fitness.2.The main factors that hinder college students’ extracurricular sports participation are:among the obstacles to personal participation,the pressure of study is great,and they lack sports knowledge,skills and sports equipment;Among the obstacles to interpersonal participation,unwillingness to compete,lack of friends’ company and unpleasant sports experience;Among the obstacles to organizational participation,the venue equipment can not meet the demand,there is a lack of platform for complaints and suggestions,and schools and colleges do not often hold competitions;Among the obstacles to community participation,there are few competitions,lack of community instructors and lack of popularization of sports knowledge.3.There are significant differences between male and female students in the factors of barriers to participation.College students in Harbin participate in sports with high intensity,exercise amount,long time and high frequency,and their obstacles to participation in all dimensions are less than those in sports with low intensity,exercise amount,short time and low frequency.4.The closer the individual is,the stronger the relationship between the obstacles to participation and the amount of exercise and behavior intention of college students in Harbin;Personal and interpersonal participation barriers are the main obstacles that affect the amount of exercise.The four dimensions of barriers to participation in the social ecological model all have a significant negative impact on extracurricular sports behavior intention.Assuming that H1,H2,H3 and H4 are established,the model is established.In view of the conclusion,the following suggestions are put forward:in terms of personal participation obstacles,learning sports skills through multiple channels,planning time reasonably and strengthening sports persistence;In terms of obstacles to interpersonal participation,we should attach importance to students’ fear of difficulties,enhance students’sense of competition,actively walk out of their comfort zone and effectively implement sports homework;In terms of organizational participation obstacles,pay attention to the differences between men and women,provide convenient channels for complaints and suggestions,and cooperate with associations and competitions;In terms of obstacles to community participation,community schools form a joint force and effectively play the role of social sports instructors.
