Abstract/Summary:
With the promulgation of the Compulsory Education Curriculum Plan and Curriculum Standards(2022 edition),a new round of curriculum reform has officially begun.As an innovative teaching method advocated by the new curriculum standards of morality and rule of law in junior middle school,issue-based teaching can promote the morality and rule of lawl education into the mind,help students to achieve the unity of knowledge and practice,at the same time force teachers to improve their professional quality,and promote the curriculum reform of compulsory education.However,as a new teaching method,some problems need to be solved in the process of its application.Based on the moral and rule of law course of junior high school,this paper carries out research on the application of issue-based teaching in practical teaching,explores the existing problems of issue-based teaching in current teaching practice,analyzes the causes of the problems,and tries to propose corresponding optimization strategies.The issue-based teaching is still in the preliminary application stage in the moral and legal course of junior high school.According to the results of questionnaire survey and interview conducted by the author,there are four problems in the issue-based teaching of morality and rule of law course in junior middle school:limited implementation breadth of issue-based teaching,non-standard teaching operation of teachers,insufficient participation of students in class,and poor evaluation methods of issue-based teaching.The reasons for these problems are as follows:the current external environment is not conducive to the implementation of issue-based teaching in junior middle school;teachers’ teaching concept and ability do not match well with issue-based teaching;students’ learning experience and habitual thinking limit the development of issue-based teaching;the imperfect evaluation mechanism restricts the effective application of issue-based teaching.Based on the problems existing in the current teaching practice and their causes,this paper puts forward the optimization principle and optimization path of the issue-based teaching method in the teaching of morality and rule of law in junior high school.From the optimization principle,we should follow the principle of coordination between dominance and subjectivity,unity between structure and comprehensiveness,consistency between openness and orientation,and consideration between knowledge and literacy.From the optimization path,one is to give full play to the functions of education authorities to help the implementation of issue-based teaching;The second is to improve teachers’ issue-based teaching ability based on subject curriculum requirements;Third,based on students’ main body status,stimulate students’participation in the topic class;Fourth,according to the "Compulsory Education Quality Evaluation Guide",the establishment of an issue-based teaching evaluation mechanism.According to the above optimization principles and optimization path,a junior high school moral and rule of law course teaching design is carried out,and based on the actual classroom results are summarized and reflected.
