The rapid development of "Internet + education" accelerates the integration of information technology equipment and learning environment.Many schools begin to try to introduce smart mobile devices into the classroom to carry out smart classroom teaching.The establishment of smart classroom provides diversified choices for teachers and students to carry out teaching activities,and enhances the interaction between teachers and students.In the smart classroom environment,students can get better emotional experience in the learning process,can be more involved in learning,and obtain personalized development.Previous studies have shown that junior high school students are in their prime of growth,undergoing major physical and psychological changes and increasing sense of autonomy,which can affect their commitment to learning.At present,there are still some problems in teaching in the smart classroom,such as teachers’ failure to keep abreast of students’ actual learning inputs and learning needs,low student learning inputs and low quality of junior secondary mathematics teaching.Therefore,it is necessary to investigate the junior high school students’ mathematics learning engagement under the smart classroom.Based on the intelligent classroom teaching environment,this study studies the involvement of junior high school students in mathematics learning.By reading related literature,the paper summarizes the research status of wisdom classroom and learning engagement.On this basis,the scale of mathematics learning engagement of junior middle school students in the smart classroom environment was designed.The junior middle school students and teachers in a township middle school in Linyi City,Shandong Province with the smart classroom environment were selected as the survey objects.From the overall learning involvement,learning involvement of each dimension and personal background factors to carry out the analysis.The relevant data were collected by questionnaire and interview,and then the SPSS was used for statistical analysis.The research mainly drew the following conclusions:(1)In the smart classroom environment,junior high school students’ mathematics learning engagement was at a medium-high level on the whole;(2)In the smart classroom environment,there was a positive correlation between the dimensions of mathematics learning engagement;(3)Students’ learning engagement in mathematics was significantly different in gender,class role,whether the mathematics teacher was the head teacher or not,learning goal clarity,and mathematics performance.Specifically,boys’ mathematics learning engagement was higher than girls’ from the overall and all dimensions;The students who served as class cadre or mathematics group leader in the class had a high level of mathematics learning engagement;The students whose mathematics teacher was the head teacher had higher mathematics learning engagement level;The clearer the learning goal,the higher the level of mathematics learning engagement;The higher the math scores,the higher the level of math learning involvement.The research results were discussed and analyzed,and combined with the advantages of smart classroom,improvement strategies were put forward from five aspects of behavioral engagement,emotional engagement,cognitive engagement,personal background factors and strengthen the capacity of teachers,in order to improve junior high school students’ learning engagement in smart classroom environment and promote the effective application of smart classroom in education and teaching.
