In the context of building a strong sports country and carrying out national fitness building,China has always taken small balls such as badminton and table tennis as its traditional advantages. With the development of the economic and social level, the people’s demand for badminton exercise has gradually increased.Badminton has been popularized in the life of the people of our country by virtue of its own lack of restrictions on age and venue,as well as its characteristics of strong entertainment, physical fitness and whole-body sports. The play of badminton skills also requires time perception to participate and control, such as the ability to accurately judge the landing area when returning the ball, the individual’s ability to predict the distance between the racket and the ball, the ability to grasp the time of hitting, and the ability to control the rhythm of hitting on the court. Many studies have shown that time perception,as one of the contents of psychology, will have a certain impact on the exertion of sports skills. However, there are few studies on the relationship between time perception and the accuracy of badminton hitting. Therefore, this study takes this as the starting point, and selects 16 high-level badminton players from Suzhou University as the experimental group,20 students in the badminton major class of physical education and 23 ordinary students without badminton training background as the control group.By using the methods of literature, expert interview, questionnaire, experiment and mathematical statistics, this paper studies the characteristics of time perception of high-level badminton players, and further explores the relationship between the psychological index of time perception of badminton players and the accuracy of hitting points of various skills of badminton,so as to provide theoretical reference for the theoretical application and practice of badminton teaching and training and the selection of athletes.Experiment 1:Using the TTC experimental paradigm of "small ball collision time estimation"[1](Time-To-Collision for short TTC)as an index to measure time perception, the experiment included the parameter variables of ball distance at 7.3°、6.2°、5.2°、4.1 ° and speed at 2.7°/s、3.2°/s、3.8°/s、4.8°/s.The experimental task is to start the vertical ball,so that the two balls collide at the center.Experiment 2:Take the badminton’s bouncing ball, forehand serve, pick ball, forehand hit the backcourt high ball, release ball, hook ball, drop ball and kill ball as the test indicators of the accuracy of badminton’s hit point, and divide the hit point area into 3 points,4 points and 5 points, and calculate the score of the hit point area.Research results:1.Under the condition of d1-7.3° long distance and d2-6.2° medium and long distance, there were significant differences in time perception among the three groups of students:ordinary students, badminton majors and badminton high-level athletes(P<0.05).There is a significant difference between high-level badminton players and ordinary students(P<0.05);There is a significant difference between the high-level badminton players and the badminton major classes(P<0.05);There is a significant difference between the badminton major class and the ordinary students(P<0.05).2.There is a moderate negative correlation between the ability of time perception of badminton players in the condition of d4-4.1 ° short distance and the bouncing ball(r=-0.623,p<0.01).3.There is a moderate negative correlation between the time perception ability of badminton players under the condition of d2-6.2° long distance and the accuracy of forehand hit the backcourt high ball(r=-0.581,p<0.05).4.There is a moderate negative correlation between the time perception ability of badminton players under fast conditions of v3-3.8°/s and the accuracy of hitting the ball.(r=-0.512,p<0.05).5.There is a moderate negative correlation between the time perception ability of badminton players under fast conditions of v4-4.8°/s and the accuracy of killing and hitting the ball(r=-0.240,p<0.05);There is a moderate negative correlation between students in the badminton major class and the accuracy of killing and hitting the ball under fast conditions of v3-3.8°/s(r=-0.600,p<0.01).Research conclusion:1.Under the long distance conditions of d1-7.3° and d2-6.2°,there are significant differences among the three groups of students:ordinary students, badminton majors and badminton high-level athletes. The time perception ability of badminton high-level athletes is the best, followed by badminton majors and ordinary students.2.The better the time perception ability of badminton players under the condition of d4-4.1° short distance, the better the skill of throwing the ball, and the better the ball feeling.3.The better the time perception ability of badminton players under the condition of d2-6.2° medium and long distance, the better the accuracy of forehand hit the backcourt high ball.4.The better the time perception ability of badminton players under fast conditions of v3-3.8°/s,the better the accuracy of the ball release and hit point.5.The better the time perception ability of badminton players and badminton majors under fast conditions of v4-4.8°/s and v3-3.8°/s,respectively,the better the accuracy of killing and hitting the ball.
