As an "foreign product",the project teaching method has been promoted and applied in China for a hundred years,but the application research in the new profession of cross-border e-commerce is an area that has not been studied in depth.As a core course for cultivating cross-border e-commerce talents in secondary vocational schools,Cross-border E-commerce Marketing is not satisfactory in terms of the choice of teaching contents,the teaching methods adopted and the way of assessment and evaluation.Because the project teaching method has the characteristics and advantages of being project-based,student-centred,motivated by cooperative learning and multiple assessments,the introduction of the project teaching method into the teaching of the Cross-border E-Commerce Marketing course can not only solve the current learning obstacles such as students’ lack of motivation and weak professional skills,but also provide practical reference values and research ideas for secondary vocational schools’ teachers to apply the project teaching method in specific courses in the future.Based on Guangxi W school,this study adopted literature research method,survey research method,case study method and educational experience summarizing method to carry out the research on the application of project teaching method in the course of Cross-border E-commerce Marketing in secondary vocational schools.There are three main contents in this study:1.To study the relevant theories of the project teaching method and its implementation process.In other words,the teaching activities are carried out in four steps: determining the project theme,formulating the project plan,implementing the project and evaluating the project.2.To Investigate the current situation of the teaching of Cross-border E-Commerce Marketing course in secondary vocational schools.Through questionnaires and teacher interviews,it was found that there are there problems in the current teaching of Cross-border E-Commerce Marketing,such as students’ insufficient learning motivation,unsatisfactory understanding and application of professional knowledge,as well as incompatibility with teaching methods and evaluation methods.3.To design project teaching cases and implement project activities.Firstly,investigate and analyze talent needs,job tasks and professional ability of industry enterprise,secondly,clarify the basic theoretical knowledge to be covered in the project and design the overall project content framework for Cross-border E-Commerce Marketing,and finally,take "short video marketing" as an example,design a detailed project teaching case and carry out project teaching activities.Through the investigation and analysis of the effects of project teaching implementation,this study found that: the project teaching method can stimulate students’ interest and internal learning motivation;it can enhance students’ professional and technical skills;as well as strengthen students’ overall vocational ability.Finally,by reflecting on the implementation process of project teaching,the study concluded that there are three problems in the implementation of the project teaching method: it is difficult to select the project to get to the point of job task analysis;it is difficult to manage the classroom during the implementation of the project teaching;and it is difficult to take into account the process evaluation in the teaching evaluation.In this regard,this study proposes improvement strategies in three aspects: strengthening the construction of "dual-teacher" and school-enterprise cooperation;changing the organization and timetable arrangement of classroom teaching;and paying more attention to the importance of process evaluation for students’ development.
