| Geography the study of the spatial pattern and change process of natural and human phenomena on the surface of the earth.It’s used explain the past Geography knowledge,serve the present life and predict what will happen in the future.The specific objectives of The Geography Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017 Edition)clearly indicated that students were required to explain the occurrence and development process of geography.The learning of geographic process knowledge in senior high school can cultivate students’ comprehensive thinking ability and simple forecasting ability.In addition,geographic process knowledge has obvious space-time characteristics and complex abstract characteristics,which is an important and difficult point in teaching.Students are the main persons of learning,and their interest in learning affects their mastery of geographical process knowledge.Local geographic materials can improve students’ interest in learning and promote their mastery of geographical process knowledge.Guangxi local geographical material was collected and integrated with Senior geography textbook 1 by Hunan education press by using literature method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,case analysis and experiment contrast method.The purpose of the study is to implement the high school geography curriculum standard,stimulate students interest in learning,and break through the natural geographic process knowledge teaching difficult point.The physical geography process knowledge is fully utilized in teaching to strengthen students’ hometown feelings.Teaching cases were designed to carry out the teaching practice.The effect of teaching practice was analyzed and some suggestions on the application were offered.The main conclusions were as follows:(1)Guangxi local geography materials in the teaching was tapped insufficiently.The students’ cognition of the process knowledge of physical geography was not consistent with the learning situation,and they were interested in the local geography of Guangxi,but they didn’t know the local geography of Guangxi well.Teachers were not strong enough to excavate Guangxi local geography materials,and seldom found suitable local geography materials to apply in the teaching of natural geography process knowledge in senior high school.There are certain difficulties in how to apply them,and most of them seldom mentioned local geography in the teaching process.(2)Local geography of Guangxi has abundant knowledge related to the process of physical geography.It is feasible to integrate the material of Guangxi native physical geography with the process knowledge of physical geography in the compulsory textbook.(3)The application of Guangxi local geography materials to the teaching of physical geography process knowledge in senior high school has obvious effects.Practice teaching shows that the application of local geography materials to assist the teaching of natural geography process knowledge in senior high school can improve students’ interest in learning geography,make students’ participation in class higher,and contribute to the improvement of students’ grades.(4)It is suggested that the following methods should be used to carry out the teaching of natural geography process knowledge in senior high school: first,enrich the ways of material collection and build material resource library;The second is to optimize the relevant local geographic materials to promote the understanding of natural geographic process knowledge;Thirdly,the teaching of natural geography process knowledge is carried out by importing local geography materials.Fourth,design local geography teaching cases to promote the teaching of physical geography process knowledge;Fifth,make use of local geography materials to compile exercises and consolidate the knowledge of physical geography process. |
