School is an important place for students to live.The establishment and improvement of the school support system is a necessary condition for the generation and development of students’ happiness.The school support system for the well-being of rural primary school students in the west is related to the success or failure of rural primary school management,is an important standard to measure the effectiveness of school management,and is an inseparable issue in implementing quality education and promoting school reform and development.The well-being of primary school students in western rural areas is a subjective experience obtained by primary school students after their needs are met in their life experience.This study aims to understand the current situation of happiness of primary school students in western rural areas through field research and grounded theory,and to jointly explain the understanding and performance of happiness of primary school students in western rural areas through field research and collection of student compositions.Through the grounded theoretical analysis of 558 primary school students’ compositions,it is found that the well-being of primary school students in western rural areas mainly includes ten dimensions,namely,parental care,teacher-student care,brotherhood,peer care,family reunification,grandparents’ complex,academic achievement,self-quality,health care,and food and clothing.However,after the initial questionnaire survey and exploratory analysis of the data,only six dimensions were retained,namely,self-quality,grandparents’ complex,parents’ care,teachers’ and students’ care,peer care,and food and clothing,as the dimensions of the final questionnaire.The impact of school on students’ well-being is significant,and the school support system refers to the material or spiritual support resource system from different levels of individuals or groups obtained by students in the school education environment.These support resources can enhance students’ individual satisfaction,alleviate their mental depression,and help students improve their well-being.The components of the school support system for primary school students’ well-being in western rural areas include classroom support,leadership support,teacher support,classmate support and facility support.Through the analysis of the impact of school support system on the well-being of primary school students in western rural areas,it is found that teaching support is the key factor that affects the well-being of primary school students in western rural areas,interpersonal support is an important factor that affects the well-being of primary school students in western rural areas,leadership support has no significant impact on the well-being of primary school students in western rural areas,and school support system has a more significant impact on the well-being of junior students The school support system has a more significant impact on non-class cadres and students.Based on this,this study puts forward suggestions from enhancing the effectiveness of classroom teaching,improving classroom support,building communication platforms,enhancing student support,cultivating the affinity of school leaders,improving leadership support,strengthening the adaptability of junior students,strengthening facility support,promoting the self-acceptance of non-class cadres and students,and strengthening school support.
