In recent years,the party and the state have attached great importance to the development of the cause of children’s welfare.Children from difficult families are the vulnerable group among the children,easily in the material and spiritual aspects of the lack of satisfaction,and then in interpersonal communication problems of self-confidence.Therefore,this article takes T Street as an example,through the observation method,the interview method to T Street difficult family children interpersonal communication self-confidence present situation and its demand to carry on the analysis and the summary,attempts from the social learning theory angle,to intervene the children from difficult families,in order to improve their confidence in interpersonal communication.The survey found that children from disadvantaged families have problems in interpersonal confidence,such as self-perception bias,People skills deficiency and poor emotional management,there is a need to develop proper self-knowledge,People skills,and emotion management skills.To this end,social workers selected eight children from families in difficulty and organized six group activities.Activities,through the clarification of concepts,advantages mining,to improve the self-awareness of children in difficult families,to help them form a positive self-evaluation;Providing cooperation opportunities to help children from families with difficulties to increase their communication initiative,learn communication skills,and then improve their communication skills;helping team members to recognize the benefits of positive emotions by constructing simulated situations,learn to use positive thinking in interpersonal communication to guide emotions,so as to develop benign interpersonal interaction.At the end of the group activities,the use of observation,interviews,questionnaires to assess the effectiveness of the activities.The results of the assessment confirmed that children from difficult families would actively explore their own advantages,evaluate themselves positively and improve their self-awareness after 6 group activities;they could realize the importance of communication,master the principles and skills of interpersonal communication,communication ability to improve,emotional distress,emotional coping strategies increased,learned to better manage emotions.The goal of this activity has been basically realized.Group work is effective in improving children’s confidence in interpersonal communication,and social learning theory has a positive role in guiding the improvement of children’s confidence in interpersonal communication.In addition,social workers also summed up the success and shortcomings of the group activities,an objective view and reflection,in order to better prepare for the future service of children from disadvantaged families.
