The Relationship Between Organizational Support,Family Support And Work-Family Conflict,Work-Family Enrichment And Occupational Well-Being Of Primary And Secondary School Teachers

Education is the cornerstone of national rejuvenation and social progress,and plays a vital role in improving the quality of the people.With the increasing attention of society to education,how to improve the professional happiness of teachers has gradually become a hot topic.The professional well-being of teachers is related to the survival and professional development of teachers,and the quality of educational development,which is an important topic in the field of teacher education research.As a social individual,teachers are inseparable from the influence of work and family.This study explores the factors influencing the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers from both the work and family aspects of teachers,and provides rationalization suggestions for their improvement.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 450 primary and secondary school teachers,and the results were as follows:(1)Organizational support can significantly positively predict the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(2)Family support can significantly positively predict the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(3)Teacher-work-family conflict mediates the impact of organizational support on the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(4)Teacher-family conflict mediates the impact of family support on the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(5)Teacher work-family enrichment mediates the impact of organizational support on the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(6)Teacher work-family enrichment mediates the effect of family support on the professional well-being of primary and secondary school teachers;(7)Work-family conflict and work-family enrichment for primary and secondary school teachers play a parallel mediating role in the impact of organizational support on occupational well-being;(8)Work-family conflict and work-family enrichment for primary and secondary school teachers play a parallel mediating role in the impact of family support on occupational well-being;This suggests that teachers’ professional well-being can be improved not only by improving their organizational and family support,but also by increasing work-family enrichment and reducing work-family conflict.Therefore,this study puts forward strategic suggestions to improve the professional happiness of primary and secondary school teachers from the aspects of organizational support,family support,work-family conflict,and work-family enrichment:(1)It is recommended that primary and secondary schools strengthen organizational support for teachers.Provide more work support for teachers,gradually enhance the value recognition of teachers,and pay attention to the interests of teachers in material and spiritual life.(2)Families are advised to increase family support for primary and secondary school teachers.Provide practical help to teachers and emotional support for families.(3)It is recommended to reduce work-family conflict for primary and secondary school teachers,and provide teachers with timely psychological,emotional and behavioral support.(4)It is recommended that schools and families start from the aspects of interpersonal capital,salary,professional quality,physical and mental health,knowledge and skills,attitude and perspective,etc.,and take corresponding measures to improve teachers’ work-family enrichment and gradually improve teachers’ professional happiness.
