In recent years,with the further development of education reform,Chinese classroom teaching to improve the ability of students in all aspects of attention.In2022,the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education added a section of "sorting and exploring".The teaching goal of this section is to implement the new curriculum standards to cultivate students’ learning ability of "sorting and exploring",and encourage students to conduct independent,cooperative and inquiry-based learning.As a comprehensive learning section,"combing and exploring" first appeared in high school Chinese textbooks.With the continuous maturity of teaching results in high school,"combing and exploring" has gradually been integrated into primary and secondary school Chinese classes.However,the current comprehensive learning of Chinese in primary schools,such as patriotic themed unit teaching,has problems such as shallow teaching and weak practicality.Therefore,with the advocacy of "sorting and exploring" teaching,this study studies patriotic themed unit teaching in senior years of primary school Chinese based on "sorting and exploring",and then explores its optimization strategy.When the patriotic theme is recognized as a large cultural unit,it includes the three cultures mentioned in the course content,which is in line with the development of the new curriculum standards.In addition,"combing and exploring" appears as an independent section for the first time,so as to provide a new perspective for the research of patriotic theme unit teaching and provide an opportunity to improve the shortcomings of the current patriotic theme unit teaching.The purpose of this study is to enrich the teaching practice of thematic units,provide a new way of learning Chinese for senior students,and cultivate their learning ability.Students can construct new knowledge in learning and carry out active transfer of knowledge.The whole study is based on "the combination of theory and practice".First of all,this study uses the literature method to summarize and analyze the existing research on patriotic theme unit teaching,in order to find the learning theory,constructivism theory and embodied cognition theory as the theoretical support of this study,and make it clear that the patriotic theme unit combined with "combing and exploring" has its unique teaching value,teaching characteristics,teaching principles and teaching process.It is also clear that the selected articles of patriotic theme units cover the traditional culture,revolutionary culture and advanced socialist culture,among which the teaching content is extremely rich and the selection of various genres provide a good theoretical basis for teaching practice.Secondly,combined with the questionnaire survey,classroom observation and other methods to understand the current situation of patriotic theme unit teaching in the senior years of primary schools,in-depth analysis found that there are some problems such as the superficial patriotic theme unit teaching,the theme teaching is not strong practical,the teaching resources integration method is single,the teaching design is unreasonable,and then explored the causes of the problems.It is found that the deficiency of teachers’ teaching ability and teaching cognition is the main cause of teaching problems.Therefore,in order to better promote the implementation of patriotic theme-unit teaching,the optimization strategy is put forward: first,the teaching should change the teachers’ ideology,improve the teachers’ ability;The second is to clarify the basis of theme design and reasonably formulate unit objectives;Third,the creation of theme situation and the diversification of teaching resource integration ideas;The last is the strategy in practice,that is,the fourth is to master the nature of the subject,in-depth theme learning;Fifth,strengthen theme practice,promote sorting and exploration;Sixth,pursue the diversity of evaluation and perfect the evaluation of thematic unit teaching.The proposed teaching strategy provides a new thinking direction and a reference teaching model for the patriotic theme unit teaching of Chinese in primary schools.It is hoped that this study will provide a perfect theoretical system and operational guidance for the patriotic theme unit teaching of Chinese in senior primary schools.At the same time,it is also hoped to help the majority of teachers and students further familiar with and use the unified edition of primary school Chinese textbooks,so as to provide operable teaching reference for teachers to carry out patriotic theme unit teaching under the background of the new curriculum standards.
