Governing Unity:New Methods Of Rural Social Solidarity Reconstruction

Under the background of deep urbanization,facing the general predicament of rural decline,the strategy of rural revitalization is forward-looking and of great significance to national modernization.In the practice of rural revitalization,economic development and rural governance are two important issues.As far as economic development is concerned,relevant researchers have made it clear where it is headed,leaving practical issues.As for rural governance,it still needs relevant researchers to combine the actual situation for original thinking.A core problem implied by rural governance is social order.In the case of rural moral disorder is becoming more and more serious,maintaining the moral order of rural society is an important issue facing rural governance,which points to the reconstruction of rural social solidarity.Durkheim argues that social solidarity can act as a moral framework to regulate the behavior of individuals.It can be seen that the reconstruction of rural social solidarity is an important task of rural governance and an important link in the process of promoting rural revitalization.However,the current research on rural social solidarity is not enough.In fact,the proposal of rural social governance community points out the direction for the practice of rural reconstruction of social solidarity,but the existing research lacks imagination on the unity state pointed by the social governance community.Accordingly,there is a lack of clear understanding about how to reconstruct rural social solidarity.In view of this,before discussing the realization path of rural social solidarity,this article first made clear the goal of reconstructing rural social solidarity.This paper holds that the discussion of social solidarity in rural China should not be confined to Durkheim’s dichotomy of "Mechanical solidarity and organic solidarity",but should be original in the knowledge genealogy constructed by Fukuyama.China’s governance system can connect all social subjects through a systematic linkage mechanism,thus forming a new form of social solidarity,namely governing unity,which is in parallel with Fukuyama’s political solidarity and social solidarity.It is more realistic to regard the governing unity as the goal of reconstructing the rural social solidarity,which is also the practice direction of the rural social governance community.After clarifying the goal of reconstructing rural social solidarity,this paper takes the governance experience of AR village in Zhejiang province as an example,and combines the discussion of social solidarity by Durkheim and Fukuyama,this paper constructs an analytical framework of individuality,collectivity and publicity,and collects relevant data by means of in-depth interviews and participatory observation,and analyzes the concrete paths to realize the reconstruction of rural social solidarity.It is found that in order to realize governing unity,the core is to develop the leading ability of party construction and rebuild the organizing ability of the Communist Party of China to the rural society.To be specific,the organization of grassroots party organizations to rural social members can be developed from two dimensions:direct contact and indirect contact,taking into account individuality,collectivity and publicity.Among them,individuality emphasizes the strengthening of the party-masses contact,including the optimization of working linkage and personal linkage.The development of collectivity can be started from two aspects,namely the development of collective economy and the revival of traditional community.As for publicity,we should not only guide the public of private life,but also try our best to cultivate the public nature of community.This paper enriches the existing imagination of rural social solidarity,and proposes that the reconstruction of rural social solidarity refers to the form of governing unity.On the realization path of governing unity,this paper tries to put forward an analytical framework based on the relevant theories of Durkheim and Fukuyama:developing the leading ability of the party construction is the core,taking into account the individuality,collectivity and publicity,the three levels complement each other and jointly promote the reconstruction of rural social solidarity.
