Physics is a subject that combines theoretical knowledge with practical ability.The study of physics must be closely combined with experiment and deepen the understanding of theoretical knowledge through practice.Physics knowledge is mostly abstract,it is difficult for students to imagine understanding.If teachers can use interesting physics experiments to let students explore and think about physics knowledge in practice,it can well stimulate students’ learning interest and improve their scientific inquiry ability.The revision of the Physics Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)and the implementation of the Guiding Opinions of the General Office of the Ministry of Education on Doing a good job in After-school Services for Primary and Middle School Students have increased the explorative content of students,which indicates that education pays more and more attention to the cultivation of students’ practical explorative ability.Fun physics experiments can let students learn knowledge in a relaxed and happy atmosphere,stimulate students’ curiosity and thirst for knowledge,and let them fully participate in physics learning.At the same time,fun physics experiments can also help students understand the application of physics in daily life and better understand the importance and practicability of physics.Through practice to deepen the understanding of theoretical knowledge,promote students to master the knowledge of physics.Teachers should make full use of interesting physics experiments to stimulate students’ interest and inquiry ability,so that they can better learn and explore the mysteries of physics.This paper makes a systematic theoretical analysis and research on the characteristics,principles and application of fun physics experiments in junior high school after class.This paper provides references for the application of interesting physics experiments in physics mechanics,optics and electricity in junior middle school from the aspects of theoretical basis,current situation investigation and teaching case design.The main research content of this paper includes the following parts:1.Significance and present situation of fun physics experiment researchBy referring to relevant literature,periodicals and books,the significance and teaching status of fun physics experiments are understood.By designing questionnaires and conducting interviews,the application status of fun physics experiments in junior middle school physics teaching is explored,and the ideas and attitudes of teachers and students are understood.Based on this,the design ideas of experiment cases are provided.Carrying out this study can enrich the resources of after-school physics service in junior high school,and has certain significance for promoting the implementation of the "double reduction" policy.2.The theoretical basis of fun physics experiment researchThis paper analyzes the basic concepts of fun physics experiments,and introduces constructivism,Dewey’s "learning by doing",the characteristics of middle school students’ psychological development theory,and Tao Xingzhi’s "life is education" as the theoretical support of fun physics experiments.3.Characteristics and principles of interesting physics experimentsThis paper introduces the characteristics of fun physics experiment,including easy materials,easy production,obvious phenomenon and interesting,and then puts forward five principles of fun physics experiment,which are scientific,safe,simple,intuitive and enlightening,as the guiding principles of fun physics experiment design.4.Interesting physics experiment questionnaire survey and teacher interview analysis researchThrough questionnaire survey of students and interviews with front-line teachers and individual students,relevant data of interesting physics experiments were obtained,and drawings and list analysis were conducted on the collected data to provide certain data support for this study.5.Case design of extracurricular exploration activities for fun physics experimentBased on junior high school physics textbooks for new students and starting from the three knowledge blocks of mechanics,electricity and optics,interesting physics experiment cases conforming to the cognitive development level of junior high school students are researched and designed,and modified and improved according to the opinions of front-line teachers.The design cases are applied to after-school service period. |
