The advent of the digital age has made students’ adaptability to the digital environment an inevitable requirement. The "Information Technology Curriculum Standards for the Compulsory Education Stage(2022 Edition)" lists "digital learning and innovation" as one of the core competencies of information technology courses, and information technology courses have become the main position for cultivating students’ core competencies such as problem-solving ability and practical innovation ability. The upper primary school is a bridge for students to move from the figurative thinking of the lower grades to the higher level of abstract thinking in the upper middle grades, and it is also a critical period for the information technology curriculum to begin to be suitable for project learning. However,at present, the teaching of information technology courses often attaches importance to technical operation learning and neglects technology application, attaches importance to teaching results and underestimates the teaching process, resulting in students’ "digital learning and innovation" literacy comprehensive level is not high. Moreover, the current research on the cultivation of "digital learning and innovation" literacy is mainly concentrated in high school and middle school, and there is relatively little research on the cultivation of "digital learning and innovation" literacy of primary school students, especially the research on upper primary school students. Therefore, this study explores the "digital learning and innovation" literacy cultivation strategy of senior primary school students based on project-based learning, which has certain theoretical and practical significance for cultivating students’ problem-solving ability, innovation and creativity ability, and digital environment adaptability through digital learning.Firstly, this study uses literature research to sort out the research status and concepts of "digital learning and innovation literacy" and "project learning".Secondly, through literature research and field investigation, the current level of "digital learning and innovation" literacy of upper primary school students is analyzed, and the reasons affecting the status quo are analyzed,so as to provide reference for the design of subsequent literacy training strategies. Then, from the three aspects of learning environment, learning process and evaluation link, the "digital learning and innovation" literacy cultivation strategy of senior primary school students based on project learning is analyzed and proposed. Finally,in order to verify and ensure the effectiveness of the strategy, the strategy was applied to the teaching practice of the fifth grade information technology curriculum of primary school and three rounds of action research were carried out,and the optimization strategy was continuously reflected and optimized by analyzing students’ works, classroom observations and actual teaching experience, and at the same time, the "digital learning and innovation" literacy level questionnaire survey was conducted for students in the same class before and after the action study, and the effect of this strategy on cultivating "digital learning and innovation" literacy was tested based on students’ works and questionnaire survey results. The conclusions of this study mainly include:(1)At present, the upper primary school students have initially adapted to the digital environment, but there are still great deficiencies in their cognition and related abilities of digital learning and innovation.(2)The "digital learning and innovation" literacy cultivation strategies of senior primary school students based on project learning include: first, building a project learning environment rich in digital learning and innovation atmosphere;Second, experience the inquiry-based and open-ended project learning process;Third, establish diversified and innovative project learning evaluation.(3)Project-based learning "digital learning and innovation" literacy cultivation strategy for upper primary school students can improve students’ level of this literacy and achieve significant results. The strategies designed in this study can provide reference for front-line teachers to cultivate the "digital learning and innovation" literacy of upper primary school students, and provide reference for the project learning of upper primary school students and the cultivation of "digital learning and innovation" literacy and other related research and practice.
