Abstract/Summary:
The General High School Chemistry Curriculum Standards(revised in 2017 and2020)states that the concept of integration of "teaching,learning and assessment" should be advocated in high school chemistry classrooms,classroom assessment should be carried out effectively,and efficient ways of assessing chemistry classrooms should be explored.The concept of "teaching,learning and assessment" is of great importance to change the status quo of the traditional classroom teaching and assessment.The unit teaching is the carrier of classroom teaching,which emphasizes helping students integrate subject knowledge through the construction of real situations,promoting teachers’ teaching and students’ learning,and implementing core literacy training.The unit teaching focusing on the integration of "teaching,learning and assessment" is fundamental to ensure the implementation of core literacy and improve the quality of education teaching,which not only meets the requirements of the curriculum,but also fits the fundamental task of education development to establish moral education.Therefore,the author integrates unit teaching with "teaching,learning and assessment" to carry out a study on the design and practice of teaching unit teaching of sophomore chemistry based on the integration of "teaching,learning and assessment".Through reviewing the literature,we understand the current situation of "teaching,learning,assessment" integration and unit teaching research at home and abroad,and summarize the research results of the literature;we also define the concepts of "teaching,learning,assessment" integration,unit teaching and unit teaching based on "teaching,learning,assessment" integration.The theoretical foundation was laid by defining the concepts of "teaching,learning,and assessment",unit teaching,and unit teaching based on "teaching,learning,and assessment" integration.After that,we used questionnaires and interviews to understand the real situation of secondary school chemistry teachers carrying out classroom evaluation,and concluded that teachers carrying out classroom evaluation mainly had problems such as low attention to classroom evaluation,lack of in-depth interpretation of the standards,single-mindedness of evaluation methods and lack of reflection and communication.In response to the problems of classroom evaluation highlighted by the current survey and the in-depth study of literature,the author improved the design of this thesis on the basis of the unit teaching model proposed by the previous authors and came up with a unit teaching model based on the integration of "teaching,learning and assessment".The unit teaching design of "teaching,learning,and assessment" is combined with the content of the second-year chemistry reaction principles,and the teaching practice is carried out in two classes of the second year of Huizhou W High School with the same choice of subjects.After the practice,we collected data and conducted a comprehensive analysis of the effectiveness of the integrated teaching,learning,and assessment unit.The results of the study showed that the integrated teaching-learning-assessment unit teaching has a certain effect on students’ learning interest,learning initiative,knowledge acquisition,academic achievement and core literacy development.Based on the above results,I reflect on the effect of integrated teaching,learning and assessment and propose two teaching suggestions:(1)to deeply understand the high school chemistry curriculum standards and sort out the logic of unit teaching;(2)to carry out student-centered classroom assessment activities and highlight the dynamic development process of cognitive thinking.In conclusion,the integration of unit teaching,learning,and assessment in the sophomore chemistry classroom is effective,and we hope that this practical study and teaching suggestions will provide some reference for front-line teachers to carry out integrated classroom assessment of teaching,learning,and assessment.
