In 2022,the chemistry curriculum standard for compulsory education formulated by the Ministry of Education clearly pointed out that in order to deepen the reform of chemistry education,we should advocate the creation of real problem situations and the overall design and reasonable implementation of unit teaching.With the continuous reform of the college entrance examination,the evaluation methods for students are more multidimensional,requiring students to master knowledge more comprehensively and comprehensively.Based on this,the unit teaching research based on real problem situations aims to promote the implementation of students’ core literacy,help students construct knowledge,and cultivate students’ ability to solve practical problems.Firstly,starting from constructivism and situational cognitivism,through literature analysis,the current research status of real problem situations and unit teaching at home and abroad is sorted out,relevant core concepts are defined,the feasibility of the research is demonstrated,and the research purpose,significance,and ideas are proposed.Innovatively integrating regional cultural characteristics and interdisciplinary knowledge into real problem situations,analyzing the process of unit teaching design based on real problem situations,exploring the requirements and strategies for determining unit themes,integrating and reconstructing unit content,determining unit goals,and designing unit teaching activities.Secondly,two parallel classes in Grade 9 of a school in Beilin District,Xi’an City were selected as experimental and control classes.The pre test papers were used to test and analyze the students’ learning situation.With the concepts of "properties and applications of common substances","methods of understanding a class of substances",and "chemistry and health" as the main concepts,regionalized real problem scenarios were created for "Cuihua Mountain","Shaanxi History Museum",and "Shaanxi on the tongue",Construct unit teaching objectives,integrate and reconstruct unit content,and design advanced knowledge content,focusing on "Fresh Cuihua Mountain Air → Revealing Mountain Climbing Toolkit → Picnic Barbecue→ Cuihua Mountain Tianchi","Unearthing of Qin Bronze Sword → Appearance of Treasure of Town Hall → Past and Present Life of Du Hufu",and "Carbon and Water Province: Nutrients and Human Elements → Night Market Cuisine: Food Safety and Health Protection",Design unit teaching for real-life problem scenarios,knowledge lines,problem lines,and literacy lines.Guided by core competencies in teaching practice,analyzing works such as real-time teaching evaluation of students in the classroom,completion and mastery of students’ daily assignments,and student mind maps;Elaborate the development of core literacy oriented stage test papers and conduct test data analysis;After teaching practice,conduct post test analysis on two classes of students to comprehensively verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the practice.Finally,the research and summary of the unit teaching design of the real problem situation found that the unit teaching based on the real problem situation can help improve the students’ learning initiative and interest,and help the construction and transfer of students’ knowledge.At the same time,students’ ability to solve practical problems and students’ performance have also been improved.
