| In a society with rapid development of modernization and informatization,education is also developing rapidly in the direction of modernization and informatization.Teaching based on information technology and mobile communication technology has developed from audio-visual education to various teaching methods including online education,multimedia teaching,etc.How to make educational means keep pace with the times has become one of the focuses and hotspots of current educational research.Game-based learning,as a modern learning method combining both entertainment and education,the exploration of teaching strategies and the development of teaching resources related to gamebased learning are also the research hotspots today.This research selects materials suitable for the combination of game-based learning and junior high school physics,choosing the relevant chapters of "Light Phenomenon" in the first volume of the eighth grade of junior high school physics of the People’s Education Edition to carry out the teaching design and the development of teaching resources,and evaluates and analyzes its implementation effect through questionnaires and interviews.The designing idea of this study is carried out according to the steps of the ADDIE design pattern,including Analysis,Design,Development,Implementation and Evaluation.The main work can be divided into the following aspects according to these steps:1.This paper analyzes and collates the theoretical achievements and practical research related literature in the field of game-based learning and instructional game development at home and abroad,and analyzes the subject characteristics of physics in junior high school and the knowledge reserve,psychological characteristics,motivation sources and other aspects of learners in this stage,laying a good foundation and pointing out the direction for subsequent design research.2.According to the analysis above,the relevant content of the chapter on light phenomenon is selected as the combination point with game-based learning,and the overall construction analysis of chapter knowledge is carried out,and the"reflection of light" section is taken as an example to design the teaching process of a specific class,thus putting forward the overall ideas and requirements for the development of relevant teaching resources.3.According to the needs of teaching design,the design and development of the "Direction of Light" educational game was carried out based on Unity3D.The small game combined with certain operation and thinking,and brought into the design and gradual stage design through immersive situation,so that the educational and recreational nature of the educational game reached a relatively appropriate balance.4.Test the effect of the above teaching design and teaching resources in the actual teaching through practice,set up the experimental group and the control group,and test the effect of the teaching design through questionnaires and interviews,and draw the research conclusion.Conclusions include:(1)Game-based learning in class can effectively improve students’concentration and interest,and can also improve the mastery of knowledge to a certain extent.(2)Game-based learning has a relatively obvious effect on improving the enthusiasm of students with poor teaching results in physics.(3)Participation in game-based learning can improve the confidence of most students in physics learning.(4)Participation in game learning can improve classroom activity and the effectiveness of group cooperative learning.In a word,physics itself is an experimental and practical subject.At the same time,junior high school physics pays more attention to the connection with the reality of life,so there are more knowledge points that can be associated with game-based learning.Teachers can explore more game-based learning and teaching methods to stimulate students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning,and make students more efficient and happier when they study. |
