Abstract/Summary:
With the arrival of the new era,the ideological and political education of colleges in my country has entered a new journey.In the report of the 20th National Congress,General Secretary Xi proposed the supplementation of teachers such as ideological and political lessons and the significance of high-level teachers in high-quality education.The progress of the times puts forward new requirements and challenges for the ideological and political education of colleges.High-quality ideological and political education lies in high-level ideological and political teachers.In the past,the research on teachers ’ability is mostly in terms of knowledge and skills,and Teachers’ emotional of colleges’ ideological and political theory courses ability rarely pays attention.Teachers’ emotional ability and other aspects of teachers will also have an important impact on teaching and students,so the development of this group of emotional ability should be paid attention.Although there are currently few research on the emotional ability of ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities,the concept and practical norms of "emotional intelligence" have laid the foundation for this study and provided a reliable basis.In the theoretical summary of the emotional ability of teachers in the ideological and political theory of colleges,this study refers to the research ideas of the three-dimensional structural model of Gilford.The ability of the dimension is combined separately to get nine emotional ability,including the ability to perceive self-emotion,the ability of understand students’ emotions,the ability of understand teaching resources,the ability of express self-emotion,the ability to interact with students,the ability to convey the emotion of teaching resources,the ability to adjust the self-emotion,the ability to adjust the emotion of students,and the ability to process teaching resources emotions,as a summary of the connotation and structure of teachers’ emotional ability of teachers in ideological and political theoretical courses in colleges and universities.Based on this,this study adopts the method of case study,and selects a college ideological and political theory teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience as the research object.The story of his emotional ability development is deeply explored from the two dimensions of time and space,and the strategies of using each of his emotional ability in relevant cases and events are analyzed.While narrating the story of Teacher D’s emotional ability development,this study also tries to find out the hidden difficulties and obstacles in this process.Firstly,the degree of emotional cognition is slightly not deep;secondly,the ability of emotional adjustment needs to be improved;thirdly,the characteristics of emotional expression are not distinct enough.The main reasons leading to these problems are the unitary teacher evaluation mechanism and training content,the absence of compound professional growth concept,the difference of feedback from students,and the incomplete understanding of teachers’ emotional value.Therefore,this study puts forward relevant suggestions based on the top-level system,the school level and the teachers themselves.Firstly,in the aspect of system,it is necessary to improve the evaluation system related to ideological and political teachers in universities,increase the content of emotional education in teachers training,and innovate and promote the educational concept of emotional cultivation.At the school level,we should establish a people-oriented management orientation and increase the cooperation and communication among teachers.For ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities,they should establish the consciousness of self-improvement,enhance the ability of practical reflection,and pay attention to the formation of personalized teaching style,so as to promote the development of their own emotional ability,further guarantee the continuous development of emotional ability of ideological and political theory teachers in colleges and universities,and better serve for teaching.
