With the rapid development of science and technology,electronic information technology is increasingly widely used in the field of education.From the early "electronic teaching" to today’s "digital teaching","online teaching","smart education",and "hybrid teaching",it is not difficult to see that the new teaching mode is constantly upgrading and transforming.In 2020,the sudden "COVID-19" swept the world.Against this background,the Ministry of Education issued a call to "suspend classes and schools",and the popularity of online teaching has reached a new height since then.With the arrival of the post pandemic era,online teaching in school education will face a watershed.Is it acting as a temporary "firefighter" ? Or is it a supplement to normalized teaching that conforms to the development of the times? For the art discipline that highlights visual appeal,the emergence of online teaching undoubtedly provides a good opportunity for the reform of art education.Similarly,how to integrate junior high school art with new teaching models will undoubtedly be an important aspect of future art education research.This study is divided into four parts:The first part defines the concept of online teaching,lists the different forms of online teaching in middle school art teaching,and combines relevant theories of online teaching to demonstrate its feasibility by analyzing the advantages of online teaching.The second part conducts a survey and analysis of the current situation of online teaching.A survey questionnaire and teacher interviews were conducted around issues related to online teaching to understand the understanding,feedback,and expectations of teachers and students towards online teaching.The problems encountered in the implementation process of online art teaching were summarized and analyzed.The third part proposes optimization suggestions for online art teaching in junior high school from different dimensions based on the problems found in the research: building smart education with "student-centered" approach;Optimizing the application of technology as a means;Reform the teaching model with the goal of quality.The fourth part is teaching case design.In order to enhance the application value of this article,the author designed a 2-hour unit teaching approach,presented in two different ways:online courses and blended teaching.The approach utilizes online teaching to practice in different teaching environments,thereby reflecting the application value of online teaching.This article starts with the current common online teaching platforms and focuses on the application of online teaching in middle school art.Based on the research findings of online teaching,it explores how to optimize online teaching to maximize its value,hoping to contribute to improving the quality of middle school art teaching.
