With the rapid development of campus football,football teaching has become an important part of primary school physical education,as well as an important part of campus football.Under the background of the new education reform,the quality of the teaching course is required in many directions.Football teaching in primary schools in China is still based on the traditional teaching mode.and there are still many obvious problems in football teaching,such as the level and quality of education is poor,students’ enthusiasm for learning is not high,to promote the all-round development of primary school students did not play well model.There are still a lot of obvious problems in the teaching of football,Students have little interest in soccer.The level and quality of the pupils are low,It has not played a good role in promoting the all-round development of pupils.It is the most direct and effective to optimize football teaching through innovative teaching models way.As a mature teaching mode,the "small group teaching mode "may be an effective teaching mode to solve primary school football teaching difficulties and improve teaching quality,but its effect needs to be tested.In order to solve the problems in primary school football teaching effectively and optimize classroom teaching,this paper adopts the method of literature,questionnaire survey,teaching experiment and mathematical statistics,Compared with the traditional teaching mode,the teaching effect achieved by using the small-group teaching mode in the Third Primary School of Jinfeng District,Yinchuan City,explores whether students’ physical quality,students’ mastery of football skills,interest in football participation and football team cohesion are more effective in students’participation in lifelong sports awareness.And primary school students to football teaching methods and teaching skills of the application of the test.Based on this paper,two classes from the fifth grade of the Third Primary School in Jinfeng District,Yinchuan City were selected as two groups of experimental objects.A total of 16 weeks of teaching experiments were conducted.Football teaching experiments were carried out three times a week with each course lasting 40 minutes.(1)"Small group teaching mode" is more effective in improving primary school students’interest in football,and effectively improves students’ exercise enthusiasm and learning initiative.Therefore,the application of "small group teaching mode" in football teaching has achieved good teaching effect,improved the teaching level,and played a positive role in promoting the primary school football teaching.(2)"Small group teaching mode" can effectively promote students to master football skills.Through the "small group teaching mode" before and after the experimental group experiment and the traditional teaching mode before and after the control group experiment,students can improve the three football skills of bouncing the ball,passing the inside of the foot,dribbling around the stick.By comparing the data before and after the teaching experiment,the superiority of "small group teaching mode" is obtained.In the teaching experiment,in addition to the ball tossing technique,the inner foot pass and dribbling around the stick are the two techniques with better effect in the "small group teaching mode".(3)"Small group teaching mode" can effectively improve students’ physical quality.The"small group teaching mode" before and after the experimental group experiment and the traditional teaching mode before and after the control group experiment can improve the physical quality of students.The comparison of various data results before and after the teaching experiment shows that the "small group teaching mode" has better effect.(4)In terms of improving the group cohesion of primary school students,the "small group teaching mode" is better than the traditional teaching mode,which can improve students’ solidarity,cooperation and mutual help ability.Educational reform has played a positive role in promoting the development of students.These results are helpful to promote the teaching of small-group teaching model.In the teaching of soccer in primary school.However,as the teaching experiment was affected by factors such as experimental time,conditions and environment,especially the spread of the coronavirus pandemic,which gave students after-class activities,the experimental results can only be said to be preliminary,and related research needs to be further done.
