The Influence Of Sports Idol Identity On The Motivation Of Undergraduate College Students In Ningxia To Participate In Sports

Research Objective:The phenomenon of idol worship and fan support has been widely existing in the society,and has a significant impact on the psychological life and personalized development of college students,which has become one of the focus topics in today’s society.This study takes the identification of various sports idol characteristics and the difference of idol identification degree as influencing factors,studies the depth and breadth influence of Ningxia college students’ sports idol identification on their motivation to participate in sports,explores the relationship between sports idol identification and college students’ motivation to participate in sports,and puts forward feasible suggestions to promote college students’ participation in sports.At the same time,it also provides a reference for sports motivation research with sports idols as the influencing factors.Research methods:In this paper,students from eight undergraduate universities in Ningxia were investigated to explore the influence of sports idol identification on their motivation to participate in sports.The research materials and data were collected,summarized,sorted out and analyzed by using the methods of literature,questionnaire,interview,mathematical statistics and logical analysis.To explore the relationship between sports idol identification and sports participation motivation of undergraduates in Ningxia.Research conclusion:(1)There are significant differences in the physical identity of sports idols among undergraduates in Ningxia in terms of gender,grade and sport skill level;There were significant differences in surface identity at the level of gender and student origin.There were significant differences in motor identity in gender,source of students and motor skill level.(2)The degree of sports idol identification of undergraduates in Ningxia shows a descending distribution,with low involvement as the main,moderate involvement followed by high involvement accounting for the least.(3)There are significant differences in the ability motivation of Ningxia undergraduate students in terms of gender,grade and sport skill level;There were significant differences in health motivation at gender and grade level.There were significant differences in appearance motivation in gender and source of students.There was significant difference in social motivation only at the gender level.There was no significant difference in fun motivation at any level.(4)There is a positive correlation between the characteristics of sports idol identification and sports participation motivation of undergraduates in Ningxia.(5)There is a positive correlation between the low involvement of sports idols and the motivation of sports participation of Ningxia undergraduate students.Moderate involvement was positively correlated with social motivation,ability motivation and fun motivation of Ningxia undergraduate students,but the correlation was relatively low.The high level of involvement is negatively correlated with the fitness motivation and fun motivation of Ningxia undergraduate students,but the correlation is relatively low.Research suggestions:(1)Schools should correctly view the phenomenon of sports idol identification,pay full attention to the reasons of sports idol identification,and effectively carry out all kinds of sports idol quality education activities.(2)Parents and teachers should join hands to teach students according to their aptitude,rationally utilize sports idols to carry out ideological and political education,and guide students to continue to actively participate in sports.(3)Official media should strengthen the positive publicity of sports idols,strengthen the daily behavior supervision of sports idols,and pay attention to creating a good cultural atmosphere for sports idols.
