Cultivating students’ expression and communication skills is a compelling issue in the field of language education and teaching,of which writing occupies a central position,and it is well known that improving the effectiveness of writing assessment is an important way to improve writing skills.In addition,micro-writing is a form of writing teaching that has received much attention in recent years,but the industry has been focusing on theoretical research and teaching strategy research,lacking precise and targeted evaluation content research.Therefore,this study has an important theoretical and practical value by developing a targeted micro-writing evaluation scale based on SOLO evaluation theory.This study takes the cultivation of students’ narrative writing ability and writing thinking as the basic basis,and establishes an evaluation scale for narrative description micro-writing based on SOLO theory to promote the improvement of middle school students’ writing and communication ability.The thesis is divided into four main parts.Chapter 1 defines the concept of micro-writing through literature research method,analyzes the positive effect of micro-writing teaching on the development of writing ability,and summarizes the current content and ways of micro-writing evaluation.The second chapter takes SOLO classification evaluation theory as the basic point,analyzes the inner mechanism of the theory,summarizes the unique advantages of SOLO evaluation method in writing evaluation,and analyzes the suitability of micro-writing and SOLO theory,and discusses the feasibility and necessity of combining the two.The third chapter focuses on the construction of the SOLO evaluation scale for narrative description micro-writing,and elaborates on the principles,construction and use strategies.In the construction of the scale,the objective of the evaluation is based on the objective requirements of the language standards and syllabus for narrative writing in junior high school,and the content of the evaluation summarizes the knowledge and elements of the genre related to narrative writing,while the first-line language teachers are interviewed and their opinions are referred to.Finally,the evaluation levels and descriptors are classified according to SOLO theory;Chapter 4 puts the narrative description micro-writing SOLO evaluation scale into use in the actual language writing teaching through the case study method,and designs and implements micro-writing teaching according to the specific situation,and verifies the operability and validity of the evaluation scale through case analysis,result analysis,and application analysis,and concludes that the use of the evaluation scale can improve students’ The conclusion is that the use of the scale can improve students’ writing ability and thinking.At the same time,we reflect on the problems in practice and propose improvement strategies to further improve the development and use strategies of the evaluation scale.
