Research On The Integration Of Xi Jinping’s Youth Outlook Into The Ideological And Political Education Of University Students

Youth is the future of the motherland,the hope of the nation,and also the future and hope of the Party.Since the 18 th Party Congress,the Party Central Committee,with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,has attached great importance to the development of youth groups,fully affirmed and trusted youth,enthusiastically cared for and supported youth,strictly demanded and guided youth,and formed a youth concept with contemporary characteristics.In the report of the 20 th Party Congress,General Secretary Xi Jinping emphasized that "if the youth are strong,the country will be strong",and encouraged the youth to be a good youth of the new era who have ideals,dare to take charge,can bear hardships and are willing to struggle.As the representative of Chinese youth in the new era,college students are the valuable human resources of the country and the builders and force of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.Xi Jinping’s concept of youth revolves around the main line of "how to understand youth,how to cultivate youth and how to carry out youth work",and puts forward new requirements for the growth and comprehensive development of youth.Therefore,ideological and political education,as a bridge of communication between the Party and college students,should deeply understand the importance of integrating Xi Jinping’s youth outlook into the ideological and political education of college students,take Xi Jinping’s youth outlook as the theoretical guidance and direction,and constantly strengthen young college students’ rational cognition and emotional identity of Xi Jinping’s youth outlook,and externalize it into behavioral identity.In this way,we can guide young college students to deeply understand the duties and missions given by the times,and promote ideological and political education to actively implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.This study mainly focuses on theoretical analysis,empirical research and integration path.Firstly,the basic concepts and contents of Xi Jinping’s youth concept and ideological and political education of college students are sorted out through literature analysis,and the intrinsic connection and integration value of Xi Jinping’s youth concept and ideological and political education of college students are elaborated.Second,empirical research is conducted through questionnaires and interviews to analyze the current situation,achievements and problems of the integration of Xi Jinping’s youth outlook into the ideological and political education of college students.Finally,based on the existing problems and the attribution analysis,we explore the integration paths and integrate Xi Jinping’s youth outlook into the education and teaching system,campus culture construction,social practice activities and college students’ self-education in four aspects: teaching precursor,cultural infiltration,practical realization and endogenous motivation,so as to continuously enhance the effectiveness of integrating Xi Jinping’s youth outlook into college students’ ideological and political education.
