The unity of instrumentality and humanism is the basic feature of Chinese courses.How to improve students’ language proficiency in real language use situations is the question of the times in Chinese education and teaching.Since the 1970s,Hong Zhentao has been reforming Chinese teaching.Based on practical experiences,he has put forward a clear proposition that "Chinese teaching is about learning the language rather than studying the language".His proposition fully conforms to the relevant requirements of the Chinese curriculum standards and has strong practical significance for solving current Chinese teaching difficulties.This article comprehensively utilizes the literature research method and the case study method to deeply explore the ideas,approaches,and methods of the language sense training of Hong Zhentao’s language sense school.By comparing language practices between China and other countries and drawing on typical cases,this study analyzes and summarizes the language learning concepts,methods,and skills of Hong Zhentao’s language sense school.A literature review found that Hong Zhentao’s language sense teaching covers various aspects of language sense teaching theory but lacks analysis and research combining the new curriculum standards and the current proposed new content of "Chinese core literacy".Therefore,this article proposes how to innovate the practical mode of language sense teaching under the new curriculum reform.This article analyzes and studies the formation and system of Hong Zhentao’s language sense teaching theory,its content of language sense training,its characteristics,and its significance and value.Furthermore,through a large number of case studies on "elite language","target language",and "partner language",students can improve their language proficiency through listening,reading,speaking,copying,and writing more,Help students understand language,achieve the language learning goal of "feeling language-understanding language-accumulating language-using language",and provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for realizing the language sense teaching concept proposed in the new curriculum standard as a conscious action in classroom teaching. |
