Research On The Effectiveness Of Moral Role Model Education In Enhancing Ideological And Political Education In Universities

Moral example education has an irreplaceable status and role in the ideological and political work of colleges and universities.The advanced deeds and noble moral pursuit of moral examples are used to inspire college students,so that they can look up to the moral examples in their thoughts and actions.The power of moral examples is enormous,and moral example education has a strong infectious and inspiring effect.Combined with the new ideas of the 20th National Congress on moral construction,in order to continuously improve the civilization of the whole society,through the education and guidance of the value pursuits and behavioural habits of university students,it inspires them to dedicate their youthful power to inherit and carry forward the Chinese national spirit and realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Moral role models,as advanced models in the field of morality,are typical representatives for university students to emulate,and moral role models are ideal,exemplary and contemporary.In moral role model education,educators select different types of moral role models to educate and propagate to the educated,and make good use of the functions of behavioural demonstration,goal motivation and public opinion guidance of moral role model education to achieve the goal of cultivating good moral conduct and establishing correct value guidance for university students.The current education of moral role models has achieved some positive results,but the research through questionnaires found that there are still shortcomings in the selection of moral role models,the methods of propagating moral role models and the enthusiasm of educated people to learn from moral role models in colleges and universities,and these new situations reflect the current practical problems of moral role model education that need to be solved urgently.The changes in the psychological needs of college students in the new era and the influence of society’s pluralistic value culture determine the difficulty of enhancing the effectiveness of ideological and political education,and we must start from many aspects.Therefore,to effectively improve the effectiveness of moral role model education,we should focus on three aspects:the scientific selection of moral role models,the improvement of moral role model publicity work,and the improvement of moral role model education methods.First of all,the moral role model of colleges and universities should meet the basic needs of social development,adapt to the cultivation goals of colleges and universities,and meet the group characteristics of the educated;Secondly,to improve the publicity of moral role models,it is necessary to increase the intensity of publicity of moral role models,change the concept of moral role model publicity,and enrich the publicity methods of moral role models;Finally,the method of moral role model education is improved by promoting the effective combination of classroom education and self-education,improving the practical ability of moral role model education,improving the moral role model education mechanism,and strengthening the joint force of college,family and social education.
