As an important part of kindergarten art education,painting collection teaching is one of the essential ways of aesthetic education in kindergarten.Painting teaching activities can promote children’s observation,imagination,and aesthetic ability,develop children’s intelligence and creativity,be conducive to children’s personality development,and so on.Previous studies on children’s painting teaching activities mainly focus on teachers’ perspectives,ignoring children’s initiative experience in painting teaching activities.Therefore,it is urgent to study painting teaching activities from children’s perspectives.Therefore,based on the Goodlad curriculum theory,this study explores the experience curriculum of children’s drawing teaching activities.Based on the theory of curriculum decision,Goodlad divides curriculum into five levels: ideal curriculum,formal curriculum,perceptive curriculum,operational curriculum,and experience curriculum.Experiential curriculum refers to the process and result of children’s interaction with people,things,and objects in kindergarten’s painting collection teaching activities.This research analyzes the experience course of children’s painting teaching activities from three aspects: children’s perception of painting teaching activities,feelings about painting teaching activities,children’s interaction process,and achievements in painting teaching activities.This study adopts convenient sampling to research two large classes in A garden of L municipal demonstration kindergarten.The natural observation method was used to collect the data from 8 painting collection teaching activities in two classes,focusing on the analysis of children’s language and behavior;The semi-structured interview method was used to collect the thoughts and feelings of 7 focus children in two classes on painting collection teaching activities.At the same time,two teachers of the two classes were interviewed after the activity of painting collection teaching.This paper discusses children’s perceptions and feeling about painting collection teaching activities as well as children’s activity process and achievement in painting collection teaching activities.The findings are as follows: first,the characteristics of children’s perception of painting collection teaching activities.Children can clearly perceive what they are doing if they are well taught about the accuracy of painting collection teaching activities.The order of children’s recall is not always positive;Children ignore painting materials and unhappy things;There are differences in children’s perception of the target of painting teaching activities.The second is the characteristics of children’s feelings to the activities of painting collection teaching,and children expressed that they felt positive emotions in the activities of painting collection teaching;Materials in painting collection teaching activities and peer evaluation of "beauty and ugliness" of painting works affect children’s love of painting collection teaching activities.Finally,the achievements of children in painting collection teaching activities.Seven children have achieved three aspects of development in cognitive ability,painting ability,and appreciation ability in painting collection teaching activities.However,the achievements among individuals are not completely consistent,and there are great differences.The experience curriculum of children’s painting collection teaching activity reflects the similarities and differences with teachers’ preset painting collection teaching activity,which teachers and children influence.
