Narration is the nature of children,and painting is an important way of narration for children.The study is based on many discipline theories including narration,psychology,aesthetics,and education.Further discussion about children's narrative painting and implications for education has been carried out by documents,observation,interview,analysis for works.Specifically,the present study includes six parts and the main points of view are as follows.The first part studies the problems of narration and children.It describes the children's narration from five aspects based on sorting out the ‘narration' in multi-disciplinary perspectives.Narration is children's nature and the narration of children is poetic,integrate and ‘individual' narration.Painting is an important way of narration for children.The second part explores the narrative paintings of children and the implications for children to develop.Meanwhile,children's narrative paintings are proposed based on historical study of narrative paintings.The theory of children's narrative painting that development in emotion,language,and cognitive ability can be stimulated through the way has been proposed.The third part discusses the ‘items' of children's narrative paintings and quantification statistics are conducted on the obtained information of relevant investigation and design and analyse the multiple contents such as playing events and studying events.In the research,they summarized the main expression techniques and perspectives.The forth part discussed the ‘narration' of narrative painting.Major performances including multi-symbol penetration,exaggeration and distortion are summed up by research methods such as work analysis.Analysis on children's narrative paintings is presented from narrative perspective.The study points out the narrator interruption phenomenon in children's narrative paintings and the narration interruption phenomenon in the children's narrative paintings.They think that children's paintings use the first-person narrative angle mainly.The fifth part mainly discusses the phenomenon and causes of ‘lacking narration' which existing in the present children's painting education.Combined with practice,researchers pointed out that there was a lack of narration in current children's painting education and analyze the reasons.It is expressed in three facets: in the contents that we attach more importance to the objects than affairs,in the process of the painting that the lack of experience is reflected and in the valuation of painting that ‘negative talk' is appeared.The study points out the phenomenon that the false narration in the present children's painting education and analyzes the reasons that accounting for the phenomen on aboved.At last,researchers pointed that Children's narrative painting reveals a lot to ideas as well as practice of the Children's paintings education.Theoretically,researchers believe that children's painting activities should respect and protect their narrative natures on the one hand and focus upon cultivating " amateur children artists" on the other;Practically,researchers consider that painting contents should be grounded on children's lives,and that creating conditions for kids to accumulate narrative capitals and enhancing teachers' mind-reading abilities and they analyze the revelations combined with concrete practice case.
