On June 16,2020,President Xi Jinping mentioned the term "post-epidemic era" during a telephone conversation with President Rahmon of Tajikistan.The post-epidemic era essentially refers to a period of normalization of the prevention and control of COVID-19,when patriotic education will be affected,on the one hand,the epidemic prevention and control has hindered people’s face-to-face communication to a certain extent,while on the other hand,the "anti-epidemic spirit" condensed in China’s fight against the epidemic has generally improved the patriotic enthusiasm of the Chinese people.Patriotism is the core of the Chinese national spirit,and patriotic education is indeed constantly changing according to the needs of the times.As the future successors of the communist cause,college students need to establish a correct view of the country,so it is necessary to carry out and strengthen patriotic education.The article expounds the core concepts of patriotism education for college students in the post-epidemic era,including the post-epidemic era,patriotism and patriotism education for college students.The article sorted out the Marxists’ expositions on patriotism as the theoretical foundation,and proposed that the "anti-epidemic spirit" had a certain positive impact on the patriotic education of college students.In order to understand the current situation of college students’ patriotism cognition,emotion and will,and behavior at the moment of the epidemic,the patriotism of college students was investigated and analyzed.The survey mainly used University A as a case,distributed 700 questionnaires,recovered 688 valid questionnaires,and conducted in-depth interviews with 34 university students.According to the questionnaire and interview results,the current situation of college students’ patriotic cognition is not comprehensive enough,their emotions and will are stronger,their behavior is more rational,and the effect of college students’ patriotism education courses is more prominent,and it is found from the current situation that there are dilemmas such as the content of college students’ patriotism education to be updated,the methods to be enhanced,the carrier to be enriched,and the utilization rate of resources to be improved.The focus and foothold of the paper is to explore the innovation of patriotism education for college students in the post-epidemic era.Starting from the four aspects of enriching educational content,adjusting educational methods,expanding educational carriers,and improving the utilization rate of educational resources,the article proposes specific paths for innovating and developing patriotic education for college students.The purpose of this study is to explore how to increase the patriotism education of college students in the post-epidemic era,integrate patriotic education for college students into the whole process of patriotic education,and break through the problems and bottlenecks in the dynamic process of college students’ patriotic education.
