The traditional festival culture in China is an important part of China culture,which contains rich educational resources and wisdom.Taking traditional festival culture education as the carrier of social education for children aged 3-6,let children aged 3-6 receive the influence of traditional festival culture from childhood and understand the profound connotation of traditional festival culture in a quiet way,which is not only conducive to improving the level of children’s social education,but also conducive to promoting the inheritance and development of traditional festival culture.This paper systematically analyzes the connotation of traditional festival culture through the methods of interviews and documents,deeply digs into the cultural and educational resources contained in traditional festivals in China,investigates the development status of social education and festival culture education for children aged3-6,and demonstrates the importance of social education for children aged 3-6.This paper holds that traditional festival culture education is an indispensable part of social education for children aged 3-6.Integrating festival culture education into children’s social education can not only improve children’s social cognition of traditional festival culture,but also cultivate children’s social emotion.Based on the theory of human development ecology,this paper explores how to play the role of festival culture education in promoting children’s social development.From the perspective of human development ecology and Chen Heqin’s "living education",this paper analyzes the internal relationship between social education of children aged 3-6 and festival culture education,and clarifies the principles of integrating festival culture education into children’s social education.On this basis,it is proposed to improve the integration path of social education and festival culture education for children aged 3-6 in China in a multi-dimensional and multi-agent way,which broadens the new thinking of children’s social development to a certain extent and also provides theoretical support for the research on the integration of festival culture education into children’s social education.
