With the increasingly severe aging of the population in modern society,the group of widowed elderly living alone has received widespread attention from society and academia.The widowed elderly living alone face certain psychological dilemmas due to multiple reasons such as physical,psychological,and social interactions in their solitary lives after encountering a widowed spouse.This study relies on the "Empty Nest Elderly Case Visit Service Project" of an institution in H City,using qualitative research methods to study the specific manifestations and causes of psychological distress of widowed and solitary elderly people from the perspective of social support theory,and to explore ways to use the intervention of social work service models in narrative therapy to extricate widowed and solitary elderly people from psychological distress.Firstly,this study uses interviews,field observation,and other methods to collect data.In service projects,it uses the purpose sampling method to select research objects,collect relevant information about research issues for widowed and living alone elderly people,clarify the context,explore the specific manifestations of the psychological plight of widowed and living alone elderly people,and use social support theory to analyze the causes of the psychological plight of widowed and living alone elderly people.Secondly,this study selects a case study of narrative therapy for widowed and alone elderly people to analyze the specific processes,skills,and advantages and disadvantages of the narrative therapy model in dealing with the psychological difficulties of widowed and alone elderly people,and summarizes experience.Finally,through the evaluation of narrative therapy services,this paper reflects on the case service of narrative therapy model intervention in the psychological plight of widowed and solitary elderly.At the same time,it puts forward some feasible suggestions for social work to intervene in the psychological plight of widowed and solitary elderly people from the three levels of family,community,and society. |
