Analysis On Offensive Turnovers Of Guangdong Team Of Chinese Men’s Professional Basketball League In 2021-2022 Season

Guangdong is a strong team in the CBA league and has won the league championship 11 times.However,in the regular season of the CBA League in the2021-2022 season,the Guangdong team only achieved a record of 26 wins and 12 losses,and the last four last missed four consecutive championships.According to preliminary observation,too many offensive turnovers are one of the main reasons for Guangdong’s unsatisfactory record this season.This article aims to provide reference for the training of the Guangdong team and enrich the research of CBA by deeply exploring the characteristics and causes of the Guangdong team’s offensive turnovers.This article takes the offensive turnovers in the 38 regular season and 7 playoff games played by Guangdong in the China Men’s Basketball Professional League in the 2021-2022 season as the investigation object.Through the literature method,expert interview method,questionnaire survey method,video observation method,mathematical statistics method and logical analysis method,the main research conclusions are as follows.:1.Excessive average offensive turnovers per game is one of the important factors that led to the decline of Guangdong’s performance in the 2021-2022 season.It is affected by the offensive style and staffing of the Guangdong team.2.Passing and receiving turnover is the most common type of offensive turnover in Guangdong team,followed by dribbling turnover.3.The Foward is the player with the most offensive turnovers in the Guangdong team.4.The Guangdong team’s offensive turnovers are mainly concentrated in the front court,with the highest number of offensive turnovers in the area closest to the opponent’s basket.Guangdong team made the fewest offensive turnovers in the backcourt.5.In the regular season,the average number of turnoverss made by Guangdong in the second quarter was the highest in four quarters.In the playoffs,the average number of turnovers in the second and fourth quarters in the playoffs was the highest in four quarters.9-14 s in an offensive time is the high-time stage of Guangdong’s offensive turnover.6.Most of the offensive turnovers of the Guangdong team appeared in the position attack.In the fast attack counterattack,nearly half of the Guangdong team’s turnovers occurred in the advance stage,and most of the turnovers were caused by passing the ball.Most of the turnovers made by the Guangdong team in the junction attack occurred in the final stage.7.More than half of the Guangdong team’s offensive turnovers occurred in the face of half-court man-to-man defense,and there were fewer offensive turnovers in the face of half-court zone defense,half-court mixed defense and full-court defense.8.The average high number of steals per game caused the Guangdong team to score higher than the opponent’s fast attack counterattack or direct score than the opponent due to turnovers,which had a certain impact on the offensive efficiency and winning rate of the Guangdong team.9.When the Guangdong team faces the top-ranked team,the more negative the offensive turnovers have on the result of the Guangdong team’s game.
